Do you have a HRM? If no, that's your best bet. You can grab one on Amazon for about $50...I can burn 400 cals in 30 min on my elliptical and I burn 600 doing my HIIT workout for 35 min. Im 5'10, female, 198 lbs. and I have an Apple Watch series 2 that calculates based on my HR. BEAT THING EVER! Before that, I had a polar…

Honestly, I hate being heavy and pregnancy didn't take well to me...twice. I gained 50 ish lbs with both my kids and had preeclampsia both times after suffering a miscarriage in between. I wasn't ever too far past my goal weight until then-maybe 20 ish lbs after nursing school. But after my daughter I breastfed and was…

He Will die. Period. ...or at least come very close. From a medical professional, this is the dumbest idea. Good way to have a cardiac arrest or organ failure....if he's 15, I'd be letting his parents know.... like ASAP

My little frooties tootsie rolls are 12 cals...I repeat 12 freaking cals!

Do you like Greek yogurt? I get a lot of protein just from that and you can use that WITH your fruit. Dip your fruit in it or make a smoothie with that and some almond milk with protein and your banana. Keep in mind that your macros and goals not limits. I eat a ton of fruit. And I get an "alert" after I have my cappuccino…

I didn't read each of the responses so forgive me if this is redundant at all. I am a nurse practitioner so I am speaking from devils advocate here....there is something that is government regulates now called meaningful use. It is basically "credit" that each facility gets for providing meaningful information to the…

If you're urine is OK with your doctor, meaning your specific gravity is normal then you're not dehydrated. Are your lips dry, gums pale? If not you are fine. And I'm a nurse practitioner so I think I would know more than a scale that is super inaccurate

Start at 6 weeks, I'm a BF mom and my little guy is 3 months...you need approx 500 extra cals to EBF

When you're a breastfeeding momma and you make sure not to weigh in until AFTER you have nursed AND pumped for the morning!! That can be like over half a pound!

I'm nursing my almost 3 month old me have been counting cals since he was 6 weeks. My supply is fantastic. I have 50+ bags of milk pumped and ready as extra for when I go back to work this week. I am 5'10" and when I had my son I was 257. I am now 217! 39.8 lbs down. I am not really exercising much. Just here and there. I…

I am nursing my 11 week old son. Pregnant weight 257, current weight 217, goal weight 175! Log your food by weighing it. That's all you need! I set mine to lose 2 lbs a week because I have a lot to lose then I add 500 to that for nursing and it's been perfect.

I'm not a stay at home mom usually, I'm a nurse practitioner and work full time at an urgent care BUT I have been a stay at home mom during the last three months as I have been on maternity leave if that counts. I have a little girl who will be 3 in March and have an 11 week old son. I'll be friends if ya want to :)

You can add me too! I'm working to lose weight after having my second c section 11 weeks ago...and I'm down 38.6 lbs and breastfeeding my little guy. I need friends too. Word of advice is to invest in a scale and weigh every single thing that goes in your lips..grams is the most accurate. My scale was $20. It's a digital…
