  • I love CateredFit
  • Just finished eating this http://www.ruled.me/keto-chocolate-cake-mug/?w3tc_note=pgcache_purge_post

  • Thanks ladies. I do strength train with my trainer, but he focuses on 8-15 reps so not as heavy. Guess I should add another day or two of stronglifts. I used to be a cardio bunny for years..I guess I'm just so over it that I don't wanna see another elliptical or treadmill! Guess I should start again :)
  • I finally found one I could tolerate. I like mixing with water to avoid extra calories. The only one I can tolerate is Dymatize ISO 100 in gourmet chocolate. Only 110 calories and 25 G protein. I mix one scoop with about 5 oz water
  • I cook for my husband, 4 year old and 10 month old. Everybody eats the same thing at the same time. I just watch my portions. I'll usually plate my food at the stove with my scale. Or I'll even bring my scale to the table. I'm cooking so I can control how much oil or butter goes into the meal. With the protein, I'll…
  • This. Even a single glass of wine with a couple slices of pizza will show a loss the next morning.
  • I'll try to help with the recipe builder. I use it almost every day 1. Decide what unit you want to use to portion your food, ounces or grams? 2. Weight the vessel you will cook in...or your serving dish...empty 3. Weigh and measure ALL your ingredients. 4. Re weigh the vessel or serving dish after you are done cooking. 5.…
  • I agree with everyone saying to let the Fitbit do its thing. I got mine about 2 months ago. I have my MFP set to lightly active and lose 1/2 lb a week. Same on Fitbit. And I've allowed negative calories adjustment on MFP. I stopped logging on MFP. After two months I can see that it's working pretty well. The Charge…
  • But you are getting input on how people on this board are losing weight and staying healthy. I don't think you will find too many people who are going to encourage you to do what you are doing.
  • I usually pre-log the night before. The order just depends on what my day looks like. For example, if I'm working out early, I'll plan for a higher calories breakfast, then my post workout snack, then dinner. Lunch and snacks I'll fill in as I go. If I know I'm going out to dinner, I'll try to search the menu and pick a…
  • I'll be honest OP. I read the beginning of your post and thought why are you on this website if you are just gonna fill yourself with junk and then come and tell everyone that they can be healthy and that the type of calorie doesn't matter (which for weight loss is kinda true). But then I read the reviews and I realized…
  • Ummm...ya! You are so lucky you are losing evenly around your whole body! I've lost some weight but can't tell from the front, only when I take profile pictures. You should try all angles, front, back, and profile. It's so much fun seeing change. Imagine another 20 or so pounds! Keep it up. Whenever you get discouraged,…
  • I weigh every day. Was driving me a teeny bit crazy til I synced with trendweight.com. Gives you a much better idea
  • That's a huge difference! Keep it up. Imagine what you will look like 3 months from now
  • Girl you are so ready! Go rock that bikini!
  • Congratulations on such an amazing transformation. I'm sure that 'pudge' will be gone before you know it
  • Thanks! I happen to love it. I was not able to do any of the lifts with the bar. I started by using the fixed barbells in the gym. Since those only went up by 10 lbs, i bought some 5 lb ankle weights and wrapped them around the bar when I needed to go up in weight. Now that I'm using the actual bar and at higher weights, I…
  • You guys are amazing! Thank you for the support :)
  • Wow! You look amazing! When do you recommend going into a bulk? I have a lot of fat to loose. I'm at about 35% right now. Is it better to wait til I've gotten to a lower number? I'm 5'3" and weigh 141 right now. Have been doing stronglifts for 8 weeks. Lost 2 lbs but plenty of inches. Also, is the bulk phase usually longer…
  • When it's smaller quantities like 10 g mayo or 15 g ketchup I'll put the jar on the scale and zero it out. Then I'll just keep scooping out little by little til it shows -10 g, or whatever the weight I want.
  • I couldn't start with the bar. I started with fixed barbells at around 30, for the OHP. I increased everything by 2.5 instead of 5. And deadlifts by 5. My gym doesn't have microplates so I bought some from Amazon. It's been a huge help to be able to go up slowly. Here's the link Ader Fitness Olympic Fractional Plates - 5…
  • I initially had it set on sedentary and was getting big adjustments. I changed it to lightly active so that I could better plan out my meals and have less of an adjustment
  • I had my baby in July last year. Started at 160. Lost about 10 lbs by December. Started in January with MFP and heavy lifting in Feb. The pic on left is Feb 1 at 147 Lbs and then six weeks later at 143. First goal is 125. It's a slow process, but hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end
  • I felt it in my clothes first, then saw it in progress pictures after 6 weeks. Scale stayed the same until about 8 weeks...even then just a small decrease. Lifting heavy and eating at a deficit
  • I'm 5'3". Started at 165 post baby in July. Did weight watchers a while and got down to 150 by December. Started lifting and tracking on MFP in January and am currently 142. Hoping to get to 125 and then reevaluating if needed
  • I felt like I had gained on it the first week or two. But that was also around the time I upped my calories from 1200 to 1500. I found I was really cranky on days I only ate 1200. I set MFP manually to 1500, which is my TDEE from an online calculator. It's set at .5 lbs, lightly active, and checked off the box for negative…
  • So just wanted to give an update. For the last few days I've been making a point to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. And sure enough this morning I was down 2.5 lbs! Finally got to experience the whoosh! I've become a believer of the magic of water...definitely going to make it a part of my day!
  • Amazing transformation! The scooter in the back bring back memories
  • Wow you look amazing! How did you do it?
