Ooooh I love LOVE LOOOOVE my IP! I make greek yogurt, pot roast, pork chops, all kinds of stuff in it. I do prefer my hard boiled eggs on the stovetop tho. I even made a meatloaf that was awesome in it. The best part is experimenting and playing with it! Pot roast- saute mode, some evoo, when hot sear your seasoned roast…

I've been at a currently lower-than-it-has-been weight for4 days running. I'm taking the grandson Christmas shopping and to dinner tonight. He's chosen the Chinese buffet. I've pre-logged decent choices, pray for me that the peanut butter chicken consumption stays to a minimum... :D

Plain greek yogurt with some berries, ir my favorite - my gocery store sells rotisserie chicken already shredded off the carcass, eady peasy anytime. Eggs or I've even taken to adding beef collagen (with about 20g protein) to my morning coffee. Protein can be tough, I agree.

And to replace stuffing, I LOVE this and make it for myself (I'm cheap, nuts are expensive, and screw them, let them eat bread!!) https://www.copymethat.com/r/IntHMbD/low-carb-pecan-stuffing/

If you still want cranberries (YUM!!) this was a hit at Thanksgiving, even for the sugar burners: https://www.copymethat.com/r/t0ebPpg/cranberry-cheesecake-pie/

That all aside, my Thanksgiving weight is finally gone and I've been hovering at a lower weight than I've been in months! Imagine if I drank my water and moved my mass...

Quick update... <20g net carbs daily - close, I've been hovering around 23ish, but lots of greens and some yogurt, so not worrying about it Reigning in the calories - this has been fine, although the trainer said I should be eating a minimum of 200kcals more daily (when I did that I maintained, so not jumping on that…

Omg, @chinatowninchina, thank God it wasn't worse, everyone is ok. Things can be replaced. You, not so much. This being a keto forum, you'll understand when I say sugar really is the devil...

From your lips ti God's ears!! Or the scale's ears maybe... ;)

Woohoo, great job!!

I'm guilty of taking both my bathroom and food scales with me when I'm away from home. Almost bought one when I forgot to take it for a week st the cottage last summer!

Fantastic loss!!

Thank you! Don't blink though, I've been bouncing over and under like a yo-yo for a year!!!

I'm in for some December accountability! My goals are: ☆get my water in ☆follow whatever exercise plan the trainer and I set up this morning ☆blow the dust off my running shoes and get back at it ☆keep my macros in check and be as far south of 200 as I can be by Christmas Eve. I'd like to start 2018 under 200#. 12/03:…

1 out of 2 days getting in my water - not bad for me for a start!

Looks a lot better than the embarrassing one I should post but am not going to... 32 mins of HIIT is awesome in my book!!

I'm catching your holiday spirit, @baconslave, so I'm joining this month as well. <20g daily with the exception of 12/24, keeping a tight reign on calories daily, and I've rejoined the gym and have my initial session this Sunday to work out my workout plan. So... whatever the trainer tells me, I commit here to follow it…

Jan 12 will be my 3 yr anniversary going keto. I've lost over 200lbs, kept it off, spent the last year (unwillingly) maintaining (had a rough emo year, but kept the weight off). This years goal is to lose the last 20#.

I've read that, it makes sense and I love yogurt so I CHOOSE to believe... and I've not had any adverse effects either. I make my own yogurt, so even less carb concern there.

It's tough to reach the "food is fuel" mindset as opposed to "food is comfort, love, happy, celebratory, the be-all-end-all of happiness" thinking. Been there. Weighed 400+ pounds because every meal was an occasion. Keto helped get my brain right - doesn't matter what I eat as long as it's the proper fuel. Replacement…

I halved the sugar in the crust and used 1/3C pecans and it was amazing. I considered adding another 4oz of cream cheese just for more of the cheesecake goodness but haven't tried that yet. Even my sugar burner coworker loved it.

And this is a delicious replacement for traditional stuffing: http://simplysohealthy.com/low-carb-pecan-stuffing/

Cranberry Cheesecake Pie... holy YUM!! https://swervesweet.com/recipes/cranberry-cheesecake-pie

I've found that eating a large, leafy green salad every day keeps things moving adequately. Just remember, a keto diet produces less waste so you won't be going every day. Once every 3-4 days is fine and not constipated (in need of fixing).

@TavistockToad, I do run fasted. I'm just getting back into running after taking the last 5 months off (no injury, just not a fan of summer running). Longest race was 10k, longest run a little over 9 miles.

From a fellow avocado hater (it's a textural thing), this recipe makes me a believer! https://www.copymethat.com/r/tE0oim5/low-carb-fudgy-avocado-brownies/

I recently heard that garlic and B-1 will keep the bugs at bay. Since I've been using those, 0 bites. I quit them about 2 weeks ago for lab work today and I've gotten 2 bites this week. May be nothing, may be something, but it keeps those horrible deer flies away, too. I'll be taking them again starting tomorrow.
