If you're open minded, then yes, it can absolutely work. I went in believing it would never really work and as a result, it didn't. I tried it for my anxiety and sleeping too.

I remember being weighed in school. I remember feeling like absolute *kitten* about myself every single time too. I wasn't bullied by the others for it, but I really did hate myself a little bit more every year it came around. As a child, it's difficult to know how to make changes or even to actually go about making the…

My stomach 'pouch'. It really is the one think holding me back from happiness!!

Hey! I'm Sarah and I'm Scotland too :) Good luck!

I seem to have lost all sympathy for people when they complain about sore backs, or knees, hips, joints whatever, when they are obese and not willing to do anything about it. Not even wiling to try to lose weight. Members of my own family who have seen how I was, how much I've improved even without reaching my goal yet.…

Me! I live north of inverness.

I would like to have friends and maybe even a relationship. Being overweight so long has made me avoid people as much as possible...now the smaller I get the more i crave companionship but still feel I am not worthy of it yet. I reach my goal weight in 28lbs.

I've got two greyhounds called Lucy and Bobby, and a Saluki x whippet called Katy.

I don't eat vegetables except carrots and sweetcorn but I have lost 83lbs, so it can't definitely be done with a deficit of food.

Hello from a fellow Scot!
-
Best: I always want to try and help others. Even if I am half dead and someone wants me to do something I will do it. Its the best way to be but sometimes I wish I didn't feel the need to do as much as I do! Worst: no self confidence. Since losing weight I have hoped that once I reach my goal I will be happy and maybe meet…

I pretty much stick with water because its what quenches my thirst. However maybe once a week ill have a diet coke, 7up free or a Lucozade zero. Not because of the calories but because I genuinely think they taste better than the originals!

We never had rules growing up. Which is maybe the reason why I have whatever I want when I want. Or i did. Now its just better controlled.

Amazing, you look great!

That's a great loss, well done :) You can definitely keep it up.

Coco pops with semi skimmed milk and then a strawberry yoghurt.

I always have sugar free jelly pots made up. Less than 10 calories per pot and sometimes I add some grapes for a little extra. Otherwise I have a cereal bar or a biscuit for my after dinner treat.

Yes. Its time consuming and a pain but so worth it.

Everyone is different. For some reason I lost a load of weight from my neck first! :/

I like them all! Don't have fried very often because they end up a bit oily whocv I don't like. Love poached eggs and boiled eggs on toast. Scrambled is good too but I hate washing a scrambled egg pan so don't have them often. I always eat the yolks. Tomorrow morning I'm planning an omelette.

Wholemeal protein pasta, with tuna chunks and sweetcorn. Then I'm having an apple for 'dessert'!
