I have gone out every day so far, and I actually feel kind of anxious if I don't go out. I've paired Pokemon Go with Walk for a Dog so it's like doubly guilt-inducing if I don't get out and walk for a while. It's been a great motivator, but my friend and I normally go out at night just because it has been so hot during the…

I am from Indiana and I've gone for team Valor. Met a LOT of wonderful, wonderful people from all the teams though. It's been great to talk to people while we're all out doing the same thing.

I have been spending a ridiculous amount of time on this. Found a Pikachu tonight. My friend caught it, but mine got away -_-

116 pounds to get to Onederland. 15 pounds down from my starting weight so far, so it's not going to bad! 299 is my first big goal :D

I am 5'11, too and am trying to go from 330 - 140/150 (we'll see when I start getting down there). I'm not doing too bad so far, but it's probably the 5th or 6th time I've tried. As far as advice? Before when I failed, I tried to make HUGE changes all at once. This time, I've started with baby steps and made smaller…

Hey! I am 11.5 pounds into a 190 pounds loss. I've sent a friend request because I think we can help motivate each other. Welcome to mfp and this journey.

I very, very rarely eat all of them back. About half the time I eat half or less back, and around the other half of the time I don't eat any back. Honestly, if I am hungry I eat more and if I'm not hungry I don't force it. I figure it all averages out pretty well over the week anyway, and I am still losing regularly so...

This is Crowley. I named him after the demon in "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett but it's still fitting because I love Crowley in Supernatural as well.

I have a California King that I got for a starter snake and he's really awesome. I will most definitely be getting more snakes once I'm in a bigger place. Crowley has an incredible personality and he's so interesting, and a great conversation starter.

I have 183 left to lose. Feel free to add me!

Just got my Surge a little while ago and am totally in love with it. Really helped put things in perspective for me to get myself moving a little more. https://www.fitbit.com/user/28J3YT

Anyone, feel free to add me! My starting weight was 330 pounds, and I am down to 322 right now. I have my goal weight set at 140 (the low end) but I am going to see what I feel/look best at in the 140-170 range and decide as I go. I am working on making small sustainable changes every week so I don't feel discouraged or…

Sometimes 2, sometimes 3, sometimes 6. It depends on when I am hungry. I track everything I eat and pay close attention to how I feel. Sometimes I have 2-3 larger meals in a day and sometimes I have 6-7 small meals and snacks.

I did a full 30 minutes on the elliptical today. I've never been able to do that before. It was really exciting!

I have started adding in a lot more veggies, and swapping out sweets for fruit. I love fruit, but I'm not big on veggies, so I am trying it with baby steps. I'm proud of the fact that last week I managed 1-2 servings of veggies every day. I know that isn't what it's *supposed* to be, but it's a really big change for me.…

My goal for January is to get down to 315 pounds. That will be 11 pounds for the month, and 15 pounds down from my highest weight. I am also trying to get into the habit of doing something physical every day. I am a writer, so I spend at least 8-10 hours a day at my desk. I can't really work from anywhere else. I have done…

Just saw this, thought I'd give it a go! I am going to try…

29, started at 330 pounds and have been starting and stopping over and over again over the last 8-10 years. Down 6 pounds so far this time around and trying to stick with it by making small changes. My first mini-goal is to just get under 300 and then I'll take it from there, but I have my current ultimate goal set at 140…

I've traded in my regular overindulgence of sweets and given over to skinny cow, which is fantastic. It doesn't kill my calories for the day and it's actually really tasty. Otherwise, I trades some of my cookies, cake, junk stuff over for fruit. It's a slow, slow process.

I have this one - http://www.amazon.com/Escali-115G-Vitra-Glass-Digital/dp/B000E24BSQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1452268747&sr I've never had any problems with it and it seems to work well. I just replaced it this year because I dropped the other one (of the same model) that I had and that did break it, but I had…

I found that I've had to deal with this really slowly. There are these protein bars that I really, really like by Simple Truth. Still high in sugar, but not as bad as eating an entire box of oreos or something. I was doing two of those bars almost every day and this week swapped one out for fruit and I've noticed my…

Heights, flying, spiders, clowns. In no particular order.

The scale has already started moving, but the last time I really got behind this, I couldn't notice a change in the mirror until about 20-25 pounds (about 6 weeks in or so) when I saw my favorite shirt fit a little differently. It looked nicer. At that time, only my mother and my closest, closest friends commented on…

I hate the act of going to the gym. I hate being there. It's boring, kind of annoying, and just not really my thing at all, but I don't have a lot of room or options at home and I have found that I am more likely to actually put in the work if I am paying to go somewhere. It's all part of the process for me. I would MUCH…

Congrats! Awesome job, such a motivation!

I have the Fitbit Surge and used the suggestion to mark it as being worn on my dominant arm even though I don't wear it on my dominant arm. Seems to have done the trick for me. Step count is much more accurate (or 100 or so under) instead of way over. Don't know if Garmin has a similar setting option.
