Feel free to add me! I started my recovery 2 years ago. Diagnosed with anorexia, but I've struggled with bulimia as well.

Swimming is great! I wish I could do it more. Unfortunately, I also have psoriasis and chlorine is really rough on it. I can only swim in salt water pools which I don't have access to. Also, thank you all for the replies. I'm just gonna focus on lower body and abs for now since I don't want to irritate my wrist any…

I'm 2 years into my recovery (anorexia b/p subtype). First, congrats on all your progress so far! Honestly what worked for me was just giving it time. I worked closely with a therapist and dietician. Did some group as well. To this day I still might have disorded thoughts, but CBT logs have helped a lot. I also highly…

I have been on it on the past. It never messed eith my appetite, but everyone is different.

Add me! I'm majoring in microbiology, love games (steam) and I also have chronic pain. I'm on everyday.

I don't grind but I do clench all day. Even in my sleep. Leaves me with terrible headaches and a stiff jaw. I've somewhat trained myself to periodically relax my jaw but not nearly enough to make it not hurt. My dentist suggested acupuncture, but I haven't tried it. Might be a good idea to bring it up to your therapist! If…

Cut out most liquid calories and started weighing food out (I was actually under estimating good which would lead to binging sometimes)

Right when I wake up. I eat a small meal and then go. It's when I have the most energy. If I wait, it won't get done.

I have this issue as well. I started lifting again and making sure to be consistent.

I've struggled with bulimia and anorexia off and on since middle school. I've been in recovery since last February with no intent on going back. Recovery is so worth it! I wish you the best of luck.

I’m sure it does but I personally can’t due to being extremely hyper mobile. I have dislocations daily. I have to keep it light. But yeah, I haven’t noticed a significant amount of muscle from therabands, but that’s what my PT therapist is having me do
-
I have arthritis too pretty much everywhere as well. I use therabands (not for long periods since gripping makes me stiff) and ankle/wrist weights. It's not a lot of resistance, but I feel like I've built a little bit of muscle. I would also suggest yoga or even pilates. Pilates was great, but I had to stop during my…

It can be a lot of reasons honestly like others have pointed out. I also have arthritis along with other chronic illnesses and find that I'm always exhausted. If I have a day off, I'm usually sleeping most of the day. My rheumatologist said it's very common. Here's an article that better explains how inflammatory…

I have GP. It's advised to eat a low fat, low fiber diet since those slow digestion. Avoid nuts/seeds, and the skins of fruits. Raw veggies usually cause symptoms in most, so opt for cooked veggies. I find it a lot easier to get most of my caloric intake through liquids. (If you can tolerate solids, 6 small meals instead…
