Just bumping this super awesome thread!

Welcome! This is a wonderful site filled with tons of good stuff. GREAT job on the first 2 days!! Agree with you about feeling like you're in prison. Stay consistent--but it sounds like you're doing great. Please realize that we all (well, myself anyway!) fall down sometimes. Instead of beating yourself up if/when this…

I must say thank you to all of you who have been chatting about this recently here. Before reading the last week or so on this board about BED, I HONESTLY thought I was the only one that ever did this. It was like some sort of terrible thing i did. I guess it's a relief to know I'm not the only one. I don't think any of us…

You could try Leslie Sansone-she has walking DVD's that you follow along with. I've done them before and they're really good! I think she has some walking routines on youtube...check that out first (not sure about the neighbors under you tho)!

Angie-4.5 BBBM-1.5 Sunday was so hard. Had Easter dinner with my family, didn't "binge" per se, but ate much more than I knew I should have. Giving myself .5 and .5 for BBBM. Otherwise, doing pretty well!!

That's right, you do have to start somewhere! I think 3 days is WONDERFUL :p

Angie-1 Big bad binge monster- 0 Just read thru the March thread...you are ALL awesome!!!

Wow-I could have written your last 2 paragraphs. Thank you so much for sharing that. I have to eat it all THAT DAY so I can 'do better' tomorrow. Sometimes 'tomorrow' comes, but usually not. A few weeks ago I binged for 2 weeks straight. I honestly thought I was the only one who ever did such stupid things. I'm not glad…

I've struggled with this for years. On my 13th day in here, and a couple days ago I had a bad craving for some junk (was having that craving for a few days). So on the way home from work, I decided I'd get something I was craving and be ok with it. It was kind of a revelation for me-I ate the junk, got the craving out of…

I think what she meant is that there's no added sugar in the recipe.

DING DING DING...got a match! Mine is March 21st as well :D !!

Can I be you when I grow up (even tho we're about the same age)?!?! Absolutely fabulous!!!
-
I like to walk too! My brother used to be a runner, but had to stop due to knee and foot issues. Because of his problems (plus I'm a wimp), I've never even thought about running!

I went thru that last week. Just wanted to punch somebody, anybody in the throat! Someway, somehow I did pretty good. I don't know how. Thank god everybody made it out alive!
-
You look totally awesome!! Can I be you when I grow up :D !!

"Life" happens. Usually not always the way we want it to. Just take care of yourself and work out when you think it's ok. Forgive yourself...you got this <3 !!

Sometimes this works. I'll imagine the food I'm lusting after covered in maggots, or mixed into something I really don't like. It has helped me before.
-
That's too funny...I eat this every day! Half PB and half sugar free syrup. Use as an apple dip. It's delicious this way--cuts way down on the calories too!!
-
Congratulations and way to go snowflake!!! You are such an inspiration!!!

I think that's awesome! I recently started here too (on day 11), and find this whole site (and the people here) just wonderful. Keep up the good work. There are days the bag of Cheetos just SCREAM my name (I call that voice my inner 5 year old), but haven't given in yet, but hopefully never. Just so many good…

Newbie here, but I think you can go to my discussions (that's above the name of the post).

1. Eating at a deficit 2. Measuring everything 3. Staying away from the vending junk machine 4. Replying to and reading postings a LOT 5. Remembering how absolutely terrible i feel when going overboard with food 6. Telling my inner 5 year old that I don't need all the junk 7. I truly love salads with all sorts of yummy…

Wow, there's lots of great stuff here. I also learned I can eat foods I truly love and don't have to give up too much. My calorie goal is generally enough to satisfy me. I can have a huge salad for dinner with some smoked chicken and be totally happy with it!

I haven't hit the vending machine at work for 7 days!!!

Couldn't agree with you more!
