Major knee injury a month ago. It is going to be a long recovery with likely surgery. Having depression and anxiety about it as well as my already poor fitness tanking further. Today is the first time I have had any positive thoughts about it. Feeling like this is an opportunity to focus on myself, really change my body…

I'm here after not being here for a while and logged my food today. 🥳

@Ll0ydD0bler Love your name, guessing kickboxing is next for you! I am back to tracking this week after derailing for a few weeks and fearing that I wouldn't get my head back in the game to want to focus on this again. Lost some ground but not all. Progress is not linear and it will never be.

@Jacq_qui can you explain the straps please? I have wrist arthritis and wondering if it could help me. TIA!

Great post! I definitely am going through the same thing.

After losing steadily for 2 months I have had about a month of no net progress due to not being consistent. Not giving up! Everyone who has done this says it’s not linear. I think changing seasons has a bit to do with it for me, also fun perimenopausal things like feeling like I have PMS for a month. Getting back to basics…

Had a mini goal to be able to wear a cute Halloween scrub top in October, it was a little tight in the arms. Just tried it on and it feels more comfortable, yay! Now goal is to comfortably wear my next size down scrub pants. Getting close!

I see I'm not the only one. I did submit a zendesk ticket. I think the daily macros are correct, but I don't want to do that math.

I cut up chicken breast into manageable pieces cook and freeze in Ziploc bags. I take out just the amount I wanted use. I usually have some lettuce, 100g of chicken and a hardboiled egg with salad dressing and some raisins. I pack them up to 3 days ahead and take it to work in an insulated lunch bag with an ice pack. A…

I am on the fence on this. I have noticed it is often hard for me to eat all my calories on days I work and hard for me to stay within my calories on days I don't work. That would seem to suggest I should adjust the goals so not all days are the same. However, I find when I eat under my goal, even if I'm satisfied, that…

Thanks so much @history_grrrl

Thank you @AnnPT77 and @BZAH10 I will check those out for sure!

Thanks @kshama2001 and @fabgeekmom. It's a long story but I won't be doing any more PT for this due to being told it is not appropriate after MRI showed bursitis. I appreciate you both taking the time to advise! I will check out Hasfit.

Stay under calorie goal this week.

Not sure where you are, but PBFit, that Ann mentioned above, is available at Walmart and Costco around me. I mix it with half a serving of unflavored whey protein for a peanut flavored protein shake sometimes, just for variety. It is pretty cheap compared to whey isolate, and comes in a big container like protein powder.…

This is more of a scale victory😬, but I hit 5% of body weight lost today. I had a nice loss this week. Still a thought crept in that I still way x pounds and that's terrible. So I told the thought to f off!

See a doctor and get professional advice if that is your accurate caloric intake.

It's just one day. You got this! We can't expect perfection, just keep plugging along!
-
@rolandlobdell420 That is wonderful. You got this!
-
Super impressive @history_grrrl! Restaurants are so tough.
-
Bought a cute Halloween scrub top and don't like how it's clingy in the upper arms. Goal is to have it hanging nicely by 10/1 so I can wear it comfortably.

Wow! Fabulous!

The percentages are percent of daily calories. Fat is 9 calories per gram and protein is 4 calories per gram. It takes 2.25 grams of protein to equal the same calories as one gram of fat.
