If you truly believe that salt is causing water retention and that the above diet "fixes" it, perhaps you should take a good look at how much salt is in your "fix" and what you are eating that's "healthy" that supposedly contains even more salt...

Relationships do not reach this level because of "two weeks" of house move. From what you are saying there is a long built up resentment on their front. They are frustrated and snarky, and you are acting like a child. What you say is riddled with you portraying them as "evil" and you portraying yourself as a "victim". So…

Do you take a pre-workout? Some of those can affect some people quite badly.

Us Brits still use the word. I use it quite often. The guardian is a British paper. Who the *kitten* is Joe Biden?

ON platinum (isolate) mixed with almond milk works great for me.

By the way, this vegan would like a word... (Sorry, I had to)

The only way to solve this is for you to go away, achieve the goals that your maths has told you are optimum, then post pictures here so that the populace as a whole can then tell you whether or not you are in denial. I will be waiting here with popcorn

Ironically coming of your thyroid meds will probably show you what depression truly is... Stop self-adjusting and talk to your doctor.

As someone already pointed out, your self confidence at both weights could also change things. You may not have changed yourself, but your opinion of yourself probably did, the way you carry yourself probably did. I notice the same things between when I'm depressed/not depressed. I wouldn't put it solely down to weight,…

It can take two years for skin to tighten. Perhaps you need to ditch your "target weight" ideal and focus on building some muscle. This will help with the look of your body and your skin. There are many examples on here of women who reached their target weight as "skinny fat", but then switched to strength training, gained…

With tomatoey here. I'd get that checked out, that doesn't sound right at all. Even in my worst "I can't move..." DOMS days I never feel like that. Stop trying to strengthen them and get it checked.

in all honesty, I'd say sod the diet and just enjoy trying something new. Don't go overboard, but dont stop yourself from trying new things.

Hrm... perhaps I should gain a bit... I feel that my morals have slipped somewhat in the past few years...

No issues with it whatsoever. I live in big cycling/running country, so it's pretty much standard uniform. I wear them myself, alone, when I go for runs (compression capris/shorts/tights). They aren't undergarments, they are functional pieces of sportswear. I can certainly tell the difference when I run in compression gear…

No idea. We are only getting one side of the story. Have you stopped doing things with your family because of it? Is it interfering in any way with how your house functions? I ask this because it seems completely random for a husband to say right off the bat that you are taking it too seriously. You say you have 20lbs to…

Can you do your shopping online? Search for exactly what you need, it greatly cuts down on the possibilities of impulse buying whatever you are passing and happens to look good. Some supermarkets will let you create favourite lists, you may then never need to look in the actual store section again.

Well that explains the lack of pouncing and shredding ;) It's actually interesting...

I ordered some jym, I'd heard it wasn't quite so "in your face" as some other pre's. Looking forward to trying it. Hoping for more focus and just a bit of an energy boost rather than feeling hulk like :p

If someone has made a conscious decision to spend 3 hrs lugging a push mower around a lawn as opposed to spending 30 mins doing a half-hearted elliptical session whilst watching Dr Phil who are you to judge the worthiness or logability of said "exercise" Sometimes general work becomes exercise through necessity due to the…

I hate the word weetabix. Say it over and over in your head a few times, it burrows into your brain and makes you feel a little crazy. Perhaps it's just me...
-
I'm lost... Whilst you may not like it, it is a legitimate word. I see no reason as to why anyone would have issues with it, nor why it should be avoided. Yeah, he's just a big sap like that.

why all of the potassium posts all of a sudden... am I missing something?

I will often use a protein shake to tide me over if I know I'm going to be in a position where I won't be able to get food that will work for me for a while (when driving for instance) they do a reasonable job of keeping me satiated for around 3 hours. However, having looked at the ingredients on mine, for 261 cals I'm…

I have a feeling that the British government, the Canadian government, and pretty much any other government that funds their population's healthcare would probably respectfully disagree with that statement. As for population control, I'm all for it.

So, you complain because a charity isn't giving free glasses, complain because a non-profit organisation with no "big pharma" backing hasn't found a cure yet, complain about the running costs of said non-profit charities who you expect to come up with a cure which won't be exploited by big pharma/gov for mega cash. You…

Have you been getting help with the ED? Are you seeing a counselor? You need to figure out why you are binging, and also what triggers it.

there are different branches of medical charities that cater towards different things. Some cater more to research, some cater to giving home support, some cater to practicalities and providing quality of life improvements. All you need to do is shop around to find the most appropriate charity. Perhaps a vision impairment…
