Is that the fancy name for dog walker? Just curious.

Eating at a deficit is all you need for weight loss, exercise for fitness goals. Our fluctuates throughout the day and from day to day. If you weigh yourself every day, even consistently (as in at the same time every single day wearing the same amount of clothing), your weight is still always going to be different. One day…

I'm mainly focusing on getting my BF% down and if I lose a bit of weight in the process that's a plus too. I'm already at a healthy BMI, close to the low end, so I'm not too worried about losing a lot of weight just getting fit and healthy. I keep up with my progress on my profile page as well. Friend me if you want…

I'm three months into restarting my journey. I'm mainly working on getting to around 16-18 BF%, but some of my other, minor, goals are to get to a 24" waist, 30" hips,19-20" thighs, 12" arms, and if I lose a bit of weight in the process that's a plus too. I'm already at a healthy BMI, close to the low end, so I'm not too…

Ran 3.59 miles in 30 min. with an average 8.40 min/mi yesterday .

My UP3 does that and my UP24 did that too, I think it's a syncing problem but I'm not sure if it's because of Jawbone or MFP. I usually just it ignore it as well though and just pay attention to the calories I've taken in and how many I have left. I love my UP3 though, it's the best purchase I ever made :).

I wear my Vibrams for both running and lifting

I have a Jawbone UP and I'm thinking about upgrading to an UP3. I really like the layout of the app, the friend duels, and the data/coaching provided. My sister used to have a FitBit Flex the data given was very similar but the layout was very different. I didn't look into very much though and I'm not sure what out…

I used to suffer from chronic depression and anxiety. I'd get really bad panic attacks and black out sometimes. I haven't had an attack since I cut all ties with my father. I don't feel as depressed or as anxious as often as I used to, mainly because I've learned and sometimes still learning how to control it, but I still…

Yoga is a very good form of stretching, plus there are tons of YouTube videos and apps out there to choose from.

I measure my under bust and bust, and keep up with them both separately. I just label them as Chest1 and Chest2 on my spreadsheet.

This, while trying not to have a mental breakdown.

I weigh myself almost everyday, but I'm trying to cut back on that so I'm not obsessing so much on the numbers (I've been doing pretty good lately too) and only weighing in, measuring, and logging the results once a month. Most people weigh in once a week though and that seems to work for them. Just remember that it has to…

I would like to join as well, this is definitely what I need to help kick start the new year :).

Oh yes, in the U.S. most jobs would like you to have experience. I actually got lucky with my job because I was friends with the woman in the accounts payable office. She got me an interview when a position opened up in the accounts office, and I was very lucky and grateful to get the job, especially since I was fresh out…

@Imaharidge, I only meant that I've allowed my desk job to get in the way of living a more active life and that I'm not going allow that to happen anymore. I went to school to be a CPA, but got hired to be the payroll accountant/H.R. representative for a poultry company before I could get my license. Good luck on getting…

My resolution is to: 1) lose these 12 lbs I put on over the past months and get back to my ideal weight. 2) to be able to lift (bench press, shoulder press, dead lift, squat, etc.) my body weight (goal weight). 3) to live an overall more active life (this will be a challenge since I work a desk job but I'm sure I can…

I originally started MFP the first of this year and I was doing so well, but then I let myself get distracted and lazy. I'm starting out fresh now so I could definitely use some friends for support. I'll send you a friend request :), add me if you'd like.

Logging definitely opens my eyes to how much I'm really eating, and having a set plan so I have goals to focus on.
-
Definitely take baby steps. I wrote down my plan and a list of my goals for my journey, and I plan to focus on 1-2 things each month. Things that I need to work on to make myself a fitter, healthier person. Don't try to focus on it all at once, break it down in to smaller pieces and focus on working different things little…

Thank you @jenj1313. I'm still gradually working my way into implementing all of these into my daily life. And most of these are just little things to remind myself every now and then, like staying positive and motivated. The last time I was on MFP I was working out 6 days a week for 1 hr each day and was pretty much…

My hubby turns on the space heater in my workout room 10-15 mins before I get home so it's warm in there during my workout. And when we go places he always parks way in the back so I can get a little mini workout in while we grocery shop or go out on date night.

Zumba dvds and any circuit that includes: squats, dead-lifts, shoulder press, & rows.
-
I can be the same way, we all use a little extra motivation every now and then. I'm sending a friend request

A new set of plates for my weight set, new workout clothes, and a bench. I want to run a 5k in 15-20 minutes and maybe start training for a half, do an unassisted (off the wall) hand stand, and be able to lift my body weight (I'm lifting less than half of that right now, 40 lbs, but I need more plates lol).

Thank you :)
