Having trouble adding people from my phone. I'll have to come back to this thread when I can get to the computer. In the mean time, ladies, feel free to add me!

I've been on here for a while. Trying to get out of a rut and most of my friends list is MIA. Sending requests to you ladies!

Hey! I started in July. I'm on a 64-day streak so far. I am SO happy with my progress and looking forward to carrying the momentum forward. I LOVE chatty friends
-
I looooove my scosche rhythm plus. Read reviews on Amazon and Google. It's really accurate and comfortable (no chest strap!). I use the mapmyfitness app on my iPhone to connect with it.

My kids are 8, 6, 3, and 1. Definitely makes it challenging to commit the time to exercise and healthy food prep. BUT having little one(s) looking up to you is great motivation!

What kind of competition? One based on the scale might not work well because everybody's body is so different. But I'm competitive by nature and love a good challenge! Currently some of my MFP friends and I are doing a plank challenge. We're adding 5 seconds a day Monday-Saturday and resting on Sunday. We've lost 2 so far.…

Hey there! In 2013 I lost about 50lbs with MFP. Then I had a sports injury. Then I got pregnant. So I was off MFP for about 15 months. I've been back at it now for a couple months and I feel so much better!!!! I felt fat before losing the weight originally, but after being skinny, fat feels even fatter!!! I've got 22lbs…

Awesome! I'm out of town today and can't get to my regular gym class, so this is great! I'm in!
-
Hey! I'm sending you a friend request.
-
Hey! I play soccer. I also love hiking, kayaking, and running. I'll send you a friend request.

I'm not sure why it's not working for you. I just added 2 new people from my iPhone this morning. I'll add you too. PS how old are your kids? Mine are 8, 6, 3, and 1.

I'm on day 35, and even in just that time I'm feeling like, "Where did all my friends go?" I love comments and messages and updates. They make MFP so much more fun! I'll send you a friend request.
-
OO me too! I'll send you a friend request. And I can attest for oh_happy_day. She's a great friend!

Congratulations on 40lbs! That's fantastic! I'm sorry about your leg injury. I love kickboxing too. I really enjoy being active. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

My baby just turned 1 (plus I have 3 others: 3, 6, and 8). Before getting pregnant in 2013 I had worked my way up to running 10 miles. It felt amazing! Nooooowwwww I can barely run 1

34 days that's fantastic! Now you've established the habit - nothing can stop you! I see a difference. Keep up the good work

I had to adjust the strap on my HRM because it kept sliding down.

I'm with TeaBea. I make room for it (in moderation) everyday and dark chocolate is better. I keep almonds and dark chocolate chips in the freezer. I like at 1 to 1 ratio. So yummy and good protein and calcium too!

Some more info might be helpful if you're looking for an accountability buddy. What are your goals? What do you like to do? Maybe a little bit about yourself that someone might find in common. Friends are great on here! But ultimately, nobody can make you stay on track except you. "Those who want it bad enough will always…

HaHa "dad body" I have "mom body" I have 4 kids (8, 6, 3, and 1). Since having our latest addition, I'm ready to transition from baby maker/feeder back into athlete. I'll add you.
-
I also had a previous account. In 2013 I lost about 50lbs. But instead of divorce, moving, and changing jobs.... I had a sports injury and a baby. I took a year to really focus on my baby and not worry too much about my shape. I created a new account for a fresh start, and I'm ready to transition from baby maker/feeder…

My 13-month-old still nurses 2-3x/day. I didn't focus on my weight for a year. I waited to really attack the calorie counting until he was getting a solid portion of his nutrition from foods because I wanted to make sure he was getting enough and I could keep up my supply. I agree that trying to keep up your supply while…

I can relate! I'm a SAHM too. I have 4 kids (8, 6, 3, 1). I have been pregnant and breastfeeding pretty much constantly for the last 9 years!!! (I had almost a year "off" between my second and third while recovering from emergency surgery.). When this baby is done nursing I'm going out for a piña colada!
-
^^^I agree. it definitely depends on where you and baby are. Feed your baby. Worry about your weight later. Now I'm not saying you should go crazy with portions or calories, but this time in your life is about your baby. My 4th just turned 1 last month. I'm still breastfeeding him 2-3x a day. I'm just now starting to count…

Me too

I'm with ya! My baby turned one last month. I'm so ready to get back in shape!
-
Jeff, this is fantastic. I'm gonna add you as a friend because I can't wait to see this amazing journey! Take lots of pictures and measurements - they'll be so cool to look back on! Also, have you looked through the success stories boards and added any of those people? Great motivation!

Minis3 - I input each item individually. Not efficient, but effective Jadowns - sounds a lot like a peanut butter smoothie I make and love! Never tried adding blueberries though - interesting! Thanks for suggesting. And I'm with you on the spinach - 'cause hey, why not? I also add chia and/or milled flax seed to every…

My first goal was to lose 27lbs to get back into ONE-derland since having my 4th baby last summer. Just checked that off today! My next goal is to lose 25lbs to get down to a bmi out of the "obese" category. I don't know yet what my ultimate goal is. I felt really good at 165 in 2013 before injury and pregnancy.

Your first paragraph describes me too! (Except this was my 4th). I'm ready to get back at it and would love more friends for the journey.
