The only one I enjoy is the success stories, lots of traffic there but I agree, most people don't bother reading this forum I find. Especially if you're not a newbie anymore. I'm in Canada so I didn't come to MFP yesterday due to Thanksgiving :)

Can I join?? This is a huge problem for me. My personal goal will be to avoid LNS 6 out of 7 nights and to only eat IF I have the calories. So here we go: Me: 1* LNS: 0

I think if you have a large amount to lose it is a very reasonable goal. That's 1-2 lbs a week :) What's more realistic for me would be 12lbs by Christmas but if you were interested in starting a group to motivate each other to lose 20lbs by xmas...I'm in!!

I don't think editorgrrl was calling you overweight. I think she was saying a goal of 0.5lbs/week for every 25 lbs you want to lose is very sensible. Therefore, because I want to lose 100 pounds 2lbs/week would be a good goal. The wording in her post was a little off but I really don't think it was meant to insult. Just my…
