Thank you, I missed the documentary the first time around.

Just back from the gym (only joined last week) instructor at my body pump class was impressed that apparently I am strong and not scared of lifting heavy and adding weight. I thought I was well mediocre as I am still working out the exercises and my form, so I am really happy with that comment

When you make breakfast for the family and hide thr crispy bacon to nibble on later.

I joined the gym today, not been yet though and my Fitbit is back on my wrist counting my steps. Little steps in the right direction.
-
Dug out my Fitbit this morning, charged, updated and ready to start tracking my pathetic steps. But at least it will push me to walk more! So all good! Downloaded the 5K app too, maybe I will run by the summer?

Back after a break - so only goal this week is to get back on track!

Thank you, really appreciate all the advice given, need to google the sciatic thing though. Never even considered that or thought about it. But not the first time these jolts have happened. Just been diagnosed as coeliac so that has pretty much kept my brain in disarray. But Ordered a compression thing for my arm and yes I…

Now I feel like an idiot thank you it has been driving me nuts "facepalms". So yes, I pulled my hamstring, my left bruised knee is fine but my right arm is still really sore. And no I am not taking up pole-dancing after this, one split was enough!
-
It is at the back, not sure what the name is, but it goes from the back of the knee down into my bum? So the front side is fine, it is the backside that hurts.

I can walk but no stairs, the muscle will heal and is a lot better than 5 days ago when I could hardly put any weight on it.

I usually get crispy duck and wrap it in salad leaves with a few pieces of salad onions and cucumber. For a treat a sprinkling of sauce. My local is happy to do the swap for me for panacea to salad leaves.

Well done on staying strong, that is a lot of candy!!!

Yes, the more carbs I eat the more I want to eat, I get cravings, not for anything in particular, I just want to eat more and more and more.

I did not raid the fridge after blowing several fuses over Amazon failure to deliver my OH's late birthday present that he's been looking forward to for 6 weeks now. Wolfenstein 2. He is a gamer so this was a big deal as it was only released today. We could have bought it in the shops today, but I wanted the relaxing…

Bacon wrapped avocado eggs (Yes you read right, a way to make avocado's even more amazing) * 1 extra large avocado * 1 egg (I use small or medium, remember you are filling in the pit hole) * Streaky bacon 7ish is what I use, you might want less or more, depending on the size of your avocado. Toss your egg in simmering…

Welcome aboard!!

Thank you for the advice. It was English beans yes, at 4carbs and 38kcal for 50g I thought I would treat myself to a new vegetable. We do have sugar snap peas too, but harder to get those than mangetout which seems to be what the Brits prefer as they are everywhere, and they are 4.2carbs per 100g so slightly lower than the…

I don't eat much peas or beans. I usually stick with green salads, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, peppers and cucumber. I guess I now have figured out why lol I did find some glutenfree Beano tablets at Amazon, but wow £1 almost per tablet inclusive of postage and packing. Quite steep, not found the drops though.

Picking your nose in public and eating it. Gross!!

That is just pure filth!

Eating food that has fallen on the ground is dirty.

@RalfLott Cabbage soup? You really do want me to kill off the whole neighbourhood lol Tried it at Uni, 5 girls living together on the cabbage soup diet.... we had to air the house out for days afterwards. Just a shame the peas enjoys saying hello to everyone so much. The mix between the peas, pancetta and streaky bacon…

Is it a low carb thing? I have eaten peas since I was born, I was brought up on pea soup, every Tuesday was peasoup followed by pancakes. I also eat cabbage, raw/cooked you name it. This really was my first pass me the gas mask experience, and pretty horrifying. If I am glutened I know and I expect this kind of thing, but…
