I am lifting in a def atm, strength is taking a slow nosedive but it can't be helped.

This work's for me when I see snacks out, tempting me, looking at me, being ignored and delicious on the plate.... anyway. I imagine a cow "grazing" through a field and that just kills it for me lol.

Not to cause waves but carb cycling feels a lot like a beginner eating disorders.

I don't believe the scale day to day. Graph over a few weeks and use the average. Scales are notorious *kitten* lol. Not to be crass but I can lose weight after my morning coffee and newspaper if you get me :|

What flavor of Whey?

Every one! Lol seriously though, strongman medley

There are many exercises forthe legs, try goblet squats or Bulgarian split squats

Splitting the seat of your shorts in the middle of the gym because my squat booty is to big lol. Oddly satisfying. Finding out how unsupportive your family will be, I've since realized they don't want to believe weight loss is possible. Having people think you're a different person, uhm who I am hasn't changed?

I can go through the biological process if you want but most people hate it when I do that lol. They call me Sheldon Cooper behind my back lol. Short answer, yes it matters, 8 solid hours keeps your various hormone levels in check. Think of it this way, to torture people a very productive tactic is to deprive them of…

My personal experience: Golfers elbow, last 2 months it's gotten bad so I went to the doc, he confirmed. I've been doing self massage to break up/keep from forming any scar tissue. RICE it after heavy use (mostly the gym) learned to throw with my other hand and im getting quite good lol. Also learned to hold my phone…

I'm always happy to help! If you don't mind being at a small surplus I'd recommend checking out Jason Blaha's novice program orJonny Candito's linear progression programs. Both are free and will result in large gains. Even if you're just looking for ideas they're good. Otherwise good luck with your fitness journey!

I used to be to hard on myself, now I'm to hard on other people  Probably not a good person to ask lol.

If it's a holiday you truly enjoy, then enjoy it. Living in a world where nothing get enjoyed just seems boring as hell. Add in a lot of extra cardio through that week and go back to your regular diet afterwards. You'll likely gain a few pounds but it's not like you do it every week. Just my thoughts.
-
You could try logging it as a light walk, although I imagine a good lay burns more lol.

Lol, I'm actually a pharmacist and have multiple friends and family members with PCOS, it sucks, like a lot! Metformin is generally really tough to get started with but taper it every few weeks. For the love of all that is holy do not take it on an empty stomach. You can also lessen the adverse reactions through proper…

I'm not trying to sound mean, but I've heard this before. the problem isn't can't it's won't and that's just just letting yourself off the hook. You have to learn to change your mindset. Stop thinking I can't, I'll fail, blah blah and start thinking things like I'm the best, I'm gonna rock this, go me. Sounds silly but you…

We all have our goals! Good luck with yours.

Depending on age some elasticity will return but highly unlikely it will ever be "washboard." Normally I'm against anything surgical to do with weight loss I.E. gastric bypass (umm hello you're not treating the underlying cause...) but a tummy tuck after losing 100 pounds would be a nice little treat for all that hard work.

I have, well had PF something awful, until I learned where the real problem was. $100 bucks you have super tight muscles in the arch of your feet. Get a tennis ball and massage it out. Be warned, it's going to bloody hurt worse than the PF but the next day when you have no pain in your heel at all, it'll be worth it.…

Am I the only one who doesn't care for seated military press? Personally I love the core stability work it adds by doing it straight overhead. (assuming your form is good and you don't end up with a first class ticket to snap city.)
-
I have to work so hard just to get DOMS that last the next morning lol. You start to love the pain after a while and it becomes an addiction. #MeatHeadProbs

You're only hitting a muscle group once a week? Some perspective: A muscle takes 48-72 hours to recover from a workout, but really most likely closer to the 48 hour mark. So for about 2 days the muscle is building, then 5 days after that it's gone catabolic (eating itself) so if you do see gains, they're likely highly…

I vary my cardio so much it's hard to tell what is effective anymore but I get bored fast so I don't like to do the same thing. That being said, after fighting the HIIT bandwagon for a while I believe it's helped me progress further.

I'm going through the same thing, weight is hovering around 300 but people are noticing muscle gain and weight loss after a year at the gym?
-
I honestly hate anything with a title when it comes to nutrition, most aren't sustainable and the others are just bizarre. A lot of people are doing great on the "if it fits into your macros" bandwagon though. I have found it establishs the best healthy relationship with food and accurate portion sizes. When we can't have…

I've never used BCAAs but those that do swear by them, but they function inside the muscle and really don't do anything for fat loss. Plateaus happen, if you're really stuck find a new exercise or activity that gets you moving more or cut macros back if they're still high. Hard to help beyond that.
-
That's hreat advice, I didn't and kick my butt for not doing it all the time lol. Great job deciding to be healthy! It's a lot more fun than it seems at the start.
-
I do Yoga from a YouTube channel, does that count?
-
Geez, looks like we are the only Ontario folks lol. Woodstock

Exactly the same for me, learned real fast amd real hard about portion sizes and that's help a lot.
