Because I don't want my weight to be the focus of the answers, haha.

Thank you for the link :) I'll consider trying weights again because you're right, my body is vastly different to what it was when I last tried lifting. So I can't really predict what will happen. Thank you again :)
-
Oh gosh that would seriously mess with my head, haha. But still, that helps me feel better! Thank you xo

I lifted weights a few years ago and I didn't like the way it changed the shape of my body. It wasn't a look that I liked or felt comfortable with so I stopped. I've been afraid of lifting ever since then because it took a long time to get back to the shape I wanted to be. My shoulders in particular became quite bulky and…

I'm quite afraid of lifting, haha. I'm fine with body weight exercises for strength/leaning out but actual weights scare me!
-
It doesn't feel like winning, but thank you for saying that.
-
I've tried to do that for the last 6 months but after no change at all it is frustrating.
-
My runs/treadmill sessions/elliptical sessions usually HIIT but maybe I'll see if I can change it up or something. Thank you :)
-
The number is not the only thing that matters but it does matter to a degree because I feel like I'm pushing myself about as hard as I can and not seeing results. That is frustrating, even with the inch loss.
-
Well yes, because I still have weight to lose.
-
Hahaha maybe the scales are tricking me. I wish!
-
Congrats on managing you pain! That is awesome :) I hope the scale starts to move soon because it's is so disheartening to see the same numbers when I know I am doing what I should be to lose weight :(
-
I'm on the app now but I'll try on the browser when I get a chance. Thank you :)

It's a heart rate monitor and an activity tracker. So it will count my steps and recognize exercise, but the calories burned are based on my heart rate. I'm 5'5, 29, female, on the lower end of the BMI range. I aim to do 60-90 mins of cardio a day. I don't count pilates or strength training in that. My pilates/strength…

I'm trying to work out how to post a picture to show you guys what I mean. How do I do it?
-
Yes, my daily weight stays within the same 5lbs and so my trend weight stays within the same 2lbs. It's like I'm gaining and losing the same 5lbs but without changing anything to cause that to occur. Haha thank you :)
-
I'm trying to just focus on the changes in my body and not the number but it is so disheartening to see the same 5 numbers day in and day out :/
-
I'm not sure what you mean about my figures? If you mean how did I workout how many calories to eat, that was MFP/Fitbit. I then compared to some online calculators and settled around 1300. As for the calorie information, I always double or triple check that the information listed is correct. And if I make a meal like a…

Yes there's a huge difference in pictures and my clothes have gone down several sizes. It's not the scale, unfortunately, as it is the same across several scales. The 20cm was across my hips/butt. I've lost 10 on my waist. 7 on my arms. 17 on my bust. And so on. I know I've lost it's just not showing on the scale :/

I absolutely LOVE my charge HR. It is brilliant. I can't recommend it enough if you need a little extra motivation.

I'm wheat free. I use oat flour or brown rice flour to replace wheat flour. I don't eat bread. I use corn pasta or zoodles to replace pasta and noodles. I've found it really easy to be honest. It's not hard at all.

What a cool topic :) 5'5 Thighs: 17 Calves: 12

I eat 80 - 90% carbs every day and I do just fine. It's a personal preference. If seeing the red upsets you, manually adjust your macro goals :D
-
That's sorta my point. It's still a bad habit even within your cals. Imo of course. That being said, it takes a long time to change our habits. If overeating within your cals helps you, then go for it :)

Your prediction of weight loss is calculated day by day based on your weight, intake, and burn. It would fluctuate every day regardless unless you eat the exact same thing and burn the exact same amount of calories and stay the exact same weight every day.
-
Well my first thought is why eat when you're full? If you can train your body to be satisfied on a smaller portion, wouldn't that be better? That being said, if you're still at a deficit you'll still lose. Calories in vs calories out.

I'm never hungry in the morning. I don't start to feel hungry until at least 12pm. It's usually more like 2pm. I am finished all my meals by 5pm. 6pm at the latest.
-
I've been vegan for 7 years :) You can do it!! Good luck xoxo

I agree with all this. Personally I love IF because it works with my natural hunger cues. However I don't fast one day a week; I have an "eating window" of 6 hours a day where I have all my meals. I'm new to MFP but I've lost 60lbs in total so far.

I'm on team "eat when you're hungry". I think eating when we weren't hungry is how a lot of us gained weight in year first place, haha. I never eat breakfast. I don't get hungry until about 12pm.
