I like my water flavored, fizzy or both. I got a second hand soda stream and use it. Fizzy water plain, or with the water flavoring stuff that's zero calories. Works well for me and gives me the feeling of drinking pop.

I go with the sugar free gel cups. 6 calories. I know they have 0 nutritional value but they give me a sweet fix.

As a Diabetic you should have access to a dietician at your endo office. They would also be a great place to ask for help.

Brussels roasted with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and maple syrup. Asparagus roasted with a touch of olive oil then once finished tossed in a mix of vegan butter, nutritional yeast and garlic powder. Cauliflower roasted with smoked paprika and garlic powder. Bit of oil to get the spices to stick. These are out current…

Been on Tompimax for over 10 years for seizures. Never had any weight loss from it. If I didn't have to take it. I would stay far away. I have no long term memory because of this drug. I do not remember my kids being little. The side affects related to memory are awful.

There are tons of curries that you can do in The crockpot. Overnight oats are great too and require no cooking

Homemade hummus-using love and lemons recipe, roasted chickpeas to snack on are a big go to at the moment. I also love roasted cauliflower. Did it in bowls last night. Roasted it with taco seasoning served over rice mixed with black beans. Salsa on top. Been baking or airfrying tofu after marinating it in recipes from Thug…

"A pound of fat weighs more than a pound of muscle." No, a pound is a pound.

Are you MDI or on a pump? Do you use a cgm/fgm to monitor your sugars? Time in range is the best to lower your A1C. Your endo is the best resource for lowering you A1C and the clinic should have a dietician available to you.

If you get the fridge, hummus is one I like to take along with veggies- snap peas keep and travel pretty well. Also some of the vegan jerky's are a good lower calorie snack. Not super healthy but a low calorie option are the Gel type pre-made jello cups. The sugar free ones are 6 calories. If they say "gel" they don't…

I batch cook soups and freeze in Mason jars pro-portioned so I can't take them out the night before readyfor lunch the next day. I do the same with Mason jar salads using roasted chickpeas for a protein boost. Salads stay fresh for a week in the jars.

Hi, add me. Was in a similar situation but am farther along in recovery. Short version. Workplace injury caused it all. I had a spinal fusion c5 - c7 in 2019 and gained alot prior to and post surgical. Also I have had 2 shoulder surgeries as well. Started walking slowly. It is the only exercise I am allowed to do. That…

I like to bake cookies but make them smaller. Usually a tbsp each. I figure out the total calories for the recipe and divide by the number of cookies I get. I get my sweets but not to excess. Stored in the freezer for when the need arises.

Alot of vegan recipes will fit these requirements. Just Google searched vegan cinnamon rolls and lots came up that fit. You can always use other oat milk in place of whatever is recommended.

For relief, besides the stretches- and this is just me- a tennis ball placed just right under the butt cheek will to roll on. It massages and relieves pain. I keep one by my bedside at night as that's when it usually acts up. My pt recommended it. Sounds odd works great.

Mine is open feel free to add!

I got a soda stream. It helped alot. I use that with the squirty stuff or just straight up fizzy water. I like that you can puck the carbonation level too. I still have a diet pop now and then but this helped alot.

Crank up the music and dance! Lots of cardio workouts on youtube. Steep aerobics type things that can be done without the step will still give you a great cardio workout.

I like to use the beyond ground and make my own patties. Can make them smaller and keep the calories down. Usually get 6 from 1 package.

I like connoisseurus veg, holy cow vegan, jessica in the kitchen, sauce stache and all the others mentioned above.

I would. Depending on how sweer the protein powder is you may not need as much maple syrup as called for. Sounds good!

I just made a roasted carrot soup. Seasoned the carrots with masala, salt and pepper. Roasted brussel sprouts are great I do them in maple syrup and balsamic vinegar. Hummus is great for dipping raw veggies in.

I was getting them. I find doing daily streches for my sciatic nerve helps greatly. A tennis ball or softball(bigger than a baseball) wedged under the buttcheek on the side where the leg is sore helps too. And yes, I take magnesium like everyone else says.
