Not working for me either right now - and most annoyingly it deleted the steps that were already synced for today. So if it's not fixed I'll go over my numbers on MFP without really eating too much. Very demotivating.

You look so much happier! Well done, and thank you for the sensible approach and advice. :)

Not true, actually. There is a huge amount of added sugar in even so-called "healthy" foods. I recommend everyone watch a documentary called "That Sugar Film" to see how you can eat a supposedly healthy, calorie-restricted diet that is still amazingly high in sugar and has negative health effects.

No, your BMI is 17.9 and that is underweight. Normal weight begins at 18.5

How do you know you need to be 90 lbs to be considered for a solo? If it's written down somewhere, that's a Title IX claim waiting to happen. If it's something that other girls in the team told you, understand that this so-called "requirement" may come from their own insecurities rather than actual fact. In either case,…

Neither is particularly safe or effective, and as others have said, both will likely perpetuate your bad habits and bad relationship with food. The safest and most effective way to lose weight is to set a reasonable calorie goal on MFP, and then keep to it. Since your profile mentions you want to be "toned" you'll also…

Protein quark with 5g of Benefiber sprinkled in it, a Bounce ball, and a cup of plain black tea without sugar. Quick, filling, and low-cal.

Yes, you should weigh the fruit. I've had bananas that weighed 90 grams (80 calories) and bananas that weighed 125 grams (111 calories). That extra 30 calories adds up, especially if you eat multiple pieces of fruit and don't weigh them. You should also weigh the protein powder, and everything else. The scooper doesn't…

Amazing! Well done both of you. :)

Wonderful, and a huge inspiration. :) Thank you!

Right, immobile people who weigh 600 lbs or more and need to prepare for bariatric surgery before their extreme weight causes them to die. In that case, a last-ditch intervention is justified, and is supervised in-hospital by competent medical professionals. I assume you don't weigh close to 600 lbs and aren't immobile.…

If you're not able to speak about this openly, you're not ready to get married. Talk to him, not to random strangers on the internet.

If you have an iPhone, download an app called Happy Scale, and input the results of your last few weigh-ins. It will tell you how long it will take to reach your goal, given the rate of weight loss you're currently experiencing.

I bought some clothes that are one size lower than my starting size, thinking I would fit into them in another 6 weeks or so. To my utter surprise, they fit now! Some zip up but are a bit tight, so I'll lay them aside, but today I'm wearing one of the tops I got. :)

I should mention something I didn't mention above: This is a wakeup call for you as well. You need to seek out a therapist or other mental health professional who can help you understand why you are attracted to this man in the first place, and help you build a healthy relationship with yourself. That's the most important…

I do it every morning after my workout and a good bm, but before I shower. I'm ok with small fluctuations up or down, because I know weight loss isn't linear, but if the scale goes up in a regular fashion I know it's time to change something in my diet or exercise routine. I am quite tall (and still just barely over 300…

Well, you've only been logging for about 4 days according to what I can see. Your diary shows between 1400 and 1800 calories per day. You might try eating back only 50% of the calories you burn from exercise, increasing your water intake, and then giving it some time! Some people take longer than others to register a loss,…

Exactly. He's already told you in both words and actions that he is not willing to do what it takes to make your marriage work. Instead of going to counselling and working through his issues, he has chosen to use the coping mechanism of an emotional affair with another woman. HE is at fault in this situation, not her. The…

You soak them in water to get them to soften a bit. Then you can wrap things in them.

Brought forward losses = 29lbs My loss 10/02 = 1.8lbs Total to carry forward = 30.8lbs

This change also worked for me. If you're still having trouble, please give this a go.

I'd like to be able to wear my wedding ring again by my birthday in March.

I'd love to join!

The same thing is happening to me. SO annoying. Every time I sync my FitBit it updates MFP, and MFP briefly shows the correct calorie adjustment - but then it looses them again within 5 minutes.

A.ma.zing. Your hard work is totally paying off!

The only thing I've found that helps is to go cold turkey for 10 days. No sweets of any kind, no foods with a lot of added sugar (like breakfast cereal or flavoured yoghurt), and no soda - diet or regular. It completely sucks for the first 4-5 days, but after day 10 I find that I don't crave sweets at all any more. This…

Add me! I have about 100 still to lose.
