I had set my activity level to sedentary, so I am accustomed to Fitbit adjusting my calories. What I'm concerned about is Fitbit giving me an adjustment thinking I am on a 1 lb weightloss goal, when i want it to tell me for 2 lbs. The calorie goal I've been given by MFP is 1200 calories per day without any modifications,…

I don't know if it's my phone or not, but the reply looks like it missed so of what I wrote. But for the logging, I don't eat as I cook unless it's already been weighed, and I do weigh everything - even my diluting juice. I do think it is most likely my Fitbit that's causing me to stall. I had previously lost a further 10…

I always weigh myself in the same manner, in the mornings. I have recently started lifting weights, however that started about two weeks ago so I expected any excess water weight to have dissipated. In terms of logging, I tend to avoid eating out as I prefer to be able to weigh/count

I think I will also do this, just feel it mustn't be registering it correctly. I work as a waitress part-time so I think maybe it gets the high heart rate confused with stress and actual running around

At the moment I'm to eat 1500 calories before any alteration by the Fitbit, on an average day the Fitbit will give me around 500 calorie adjustment because it says I typically burn around 2400/2500 a day if I get to 10,000 steps.

Just discovered this for myself, very annoying! Hopefully will be resolved soon, seems to have been broke all day

My TDEE for today from my Fitbit is 2450 cals, for ~12000 steps. I have mfp set to sedentary for a calorie intake of 1600 cals a day for a loss ~0.5 pound a week and the Fitbit is giving me an adjustment of 600. I don't know if this seems realistic or not.

I'm not sure I understand your point, I'm not asking why I'm not losing weight because I haven't monitored my food correctly. I watch, weigh and measure what I consume. The weight I've lost, has been without the Fitbit HR, now that I'm allowing myself to eat more based on the corrections I'm recieving from the Fitbit,…

I did used to weigh daily, so was used to seeing fluctuations, but recently only been weighing weekly. Today stressed me I think because today is typically my weigh in day and it's the first time I've went up rather than down. I'm glad to hear about the Fitbit, I might apply the 90% to my calorie adjustments too

Have you found the charge HR to initially overestimate calories?

Thank you guys! @Susieq_1994 It's like my new toy, loving the insight it gives me!

I have mine set at sedentary, I'm 5ft6 and 186 lbs, mines is set at 1540 cals for one pound weightloss, and I exercise daily and don't eat back my exercise calories. I've had a pretty steady loss, with a few slip ups here and there. I have my carbs set quite low, as I find I enjoy fat/protein food more and they work better…

I've lost 9lbs, I'm 5' 6" aged 20, CW 187, SW 196 :) I started at the beginning of January, I can't know for sure as I only took my measurements at the beginning of Feb, but I feel my boobs have definitely gotten smaller, along with a slight difference to my tummy

How much have you set yourself to lose a week? You could be starting off too high. I find it best, if you know you have a tendency to overeat in the evening, to have less in the cupboards that I'm likely to eat/snack on. I usually buy one chocolate bar rather than the four pack because then I can only eat one instead of…

You are like me, I weighed myself almost everyday when I started, and I still have the temptation to do it now and I'm over a month into this! You might find it easier to set a morning/day a week where you weigh yourself, although be aware sometimes your body has natural fluctuations. I've also begun taking my…

I've lost 9 lbs, starting at 14 stone (196 lbs) 5ft 6 in, here's hoping it continues! I recently took my measurements so going to start keeping track of those too! Good luck with your weightloss!

What would you tend to have for lunch? I'm finding at the moment a struggle to try and fit in denser foods/vegetables, I mainly just have a small sandwich I made myself but normally still feel hungry after it Still hate the walk to uni haha 40 minutes especially Scotland and rain!

My fathers friend has been maintaining the 5:2 diet for about the last three years. He went from an estimated 210 pounds to 160. He loves the diet now, although in the beginning he said it was a struggle until his body adapted to it, he has set days he does the reduced calories (mon/thurs) which I think was to build the…
