  • YES! for me it certainly is my happy place when I get to exercise. Nothing like putting on your music and zoning out. It's my meditation and the best place to get in touch with who I am. Nothing has let me see who I am like pushing my limits. I know what I can do and what I cannot. I think it's awesome that you want to…
  • Garlic roasted Broccoli. Wash the broccoli and dry it really well I find that it roasts better in the oven when it's well dried. Toss the broccoli with olive oil, garlic and salt and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast in overn(about 400 degrees) for 15 minutes turning them them over on their other side about…
  • How exciting! I'll send you a request!
  • Planks pretty much work your whole core and you can do them anywhere. Start out with small increments of time and slowly build up. Make sure you keep your body in line when doing them,
  • I don't have a fitbit but from what I have heard the regular fitbit is an accelerometer and counts any arm swinging motion as "steps". I prefer my activity monitor that bases my calorie burn from my heart rate. I believe fitbit also makes one. I can see how if you spent more time moving how the longer workout counts higher.
  • You stopped yourself from going over your calories goal. Bravo! Now ...Perhaps think about how to prep your meals to keep you away from temptations that will make you feel bad about yourself. These feelings are normal. Go ahead and use that frustration as your fuel to have a good day tomorrow. Tomorrow is ready for you!
  • Hi! I would suggest you start with 46 to 50 grams a day. Also Squats and Lunges are your friend! I have found no better exercise for my butt! and it works quick if you are consistent. Also I suggest you also target your waist and abs. Nothing makes your butt look bigger than a slimmer waist line!
  • I plan my meals, I'm really annoyed when someone tries to convince me to try their "diet" food. I don't diet. I eat! and I'm never hungry for empty calories.
  • Also try to familiarize yourself with how to adjust the machine this should also be on the machine and is really important to the effectiveness of the exercise. The machines' seats and benches adjust to the height of the user, and you can adjust moving parts to accommodate your leg or arm length. Make sure your arms and/or…
  • I was right there with you. I use to go on youtube to learn how to position my body doing free weights. That's probably where you should start. You can get a pretty good work out even with a these. Like someone stated above they have diagrams on most machines telling you how to use them taking into account that some will…
  • I haven't quite figured how to sync mine to this app.I was thinking of posting my steps in my status. Any of you who do enjoy stepping feel free to add me and we can step together. :)
  • Today I started to feel really bloated after lunch due to a larger than usual intake of fat. My body just wasn't feeling well. I thought "for sure, no gym today". But that little beast in me said "no, just go and at least try to do some thing for 30 minutes". Sure enough after 30 minutes my adrenaline kicks in and I felt…
  • PCOS dx at age of 16. It seems like it's been twice as hard for me to lose weight than all of the people I know because of this. Fat likes me too much lol I'm 34.....lost 70 back when I was 21 then I fell back to my start weight and now I'm looking to get my old body back. I won't give up! Feel free to add me!
  • That is awesome! Definitely celebrate yourself! Successful weeks like this are what's going to get you to your goal!!
  • This was awesome to read! great job!
  • This is great thinking. Because nothing burns fat like a little cardio. I'm a big fan of powerwalks! Good luck! :)
  • I too have PCOS diagnosed since I was 16. You can totally do it. I really don't want to take any medications such as Metformin as I hear it can cause heart problems in nondiabetic patients. It has motivated me to make this weight loss goal a priority! Good luck feel free to add me!
  • Wow you did an amazing job! I would say if those activities that your bf is into don't get you excited perhaps try something else. Dancing? Try a new sport? Increase something little by little. For me to get really motivated I can't have an unmeasurable goal. I Can't tell myself I want to just lose 30 lbs. I set a date by…
  • I recently tried this Cauliflower Pizza Crust! Was great alternative! Only 272 for half a pizza. :D http://www.popsugar.com/fitness/Low-Carb-Cauliflower-Crust-Pizza-Recipe-30739512
  • Oh girl. I know how you feel. But you are here ready to get back to your goal and you feel well enough to do it. That recommitment deserves some recognition. Think about how you did it the first time. What worked? For me it was just planning my meals. I build a cheat free zone lol. Also I keep water by my side all the…
  • It's great that you will start tomorrow with your goal in mind. I Think that is a big part of being successful at weight loss and that is being conscious Of what we put in our bodies. We all can take a step back sometimes. I use my frustration with myself as fuel to do the right thing the next day. Meal planning has helped…
  • You can do it! Have sent a request!
  • Costa Rican\Argentinian\German Dutch
  • I too have PCOS when I was younger I lost 70 lbs with diet and exercise but unfortunately I let a knee injury keep me from being active and within the last 3 years I've gained 50 of it back. I let myself become lazy and a bit depressed but I'm now fighting it back off. It can be done but there is no short cut. Good luck.…
  • Add me. I need the motivation too! Best of luck
