  • SW 2016 - 240lbs CW 2/28/19 - 189.8lbs GW - 185lbs UGW - ?? I really care about my waist size. I understand healthy waist for women is below 30". I'd like to be 29" or so. Starting waist 2016 - 43.5" CWaist - 38.8" (has been as small as 37.6") seems pretty daunting to get down to 29". Sunday 3/03: 189.3lbs Sunday 3/10:…
  • Hi Everyone - I'm new to this group, and just past the novice stage with keto and IF. I've been LC since about 8/2017 and somewhere after that I became more keto. Sometime in early 2018 (Feb/March) I started dabbling in IF, after I read Jason Fung's Obesity Code and Jimmy Moores, Keto Clarity. I sometimes do OMAD and…
  • My Hy-Vee brand had it, of course! After reading this, switched to Andersen Erickson brand! Thanks!
  • I like your blog! And, the recipe looks awesome! I'll let you know how it works for me.
  • Thanks for the link to the article! Very informative! I was not aware of this! On the lookout now.
  • Correction: The Keto Diet podcast by Leanne Vogel
  • There's a new podcast on exogenous ketones on The Keto podcast.
  • Very inspiring!
  • I also read Dr Fung's books and listen to Jimmy Moore's podcasts! Glad to know others are into IF! I'm just starting with keto /LCHF and IF. I've experimented with 16:8 and 20:4 and I did one 24hour fast. It's easier for me when I eat keto and the macros right where I've eaten enough fat. I don't believe I've achieved…

  • I'm with the chocolate group! Even though dark is supposed to be good for ya - I'm sure they don't mean the whole bar! :D And, my new fave is popcorn popped in coconut oil! Comes in a ridiculous sized bag - I'm halfway through before I know what happened! Cannot even start - no moderation!!!
  • I'm on the keto - IF journey. I've been dabbling about a month, working to find my groove. I work best with automatic meals for breakfast and lunch and try variety for dinners. IF is cool because I find that I really don't need to eat as much as I used to. I welcome friends on a similar journey an my diary is open to…
  • @DDHFree - Congrats on being ketosis! I need to get sticks...forgot about that! @pwrfl1 - my cookbook living friend, too :) , did I see that you put something in your tea? I'm not a coffee drinker - but love tea. Green, black, white, oolong, you name it! Will sometimes put a little Rick sugar or honey to sweeten. Never…
  • @pwrfl1 - update on your friends -- VERY inspiring! Who would say that's not a lot of weight loss??? That's amazing. And, you're right, everyone is different. This is a great way of eating. We have to be patient AND kind to our bodies. I don't mean that we shouldn't push for results -- but, be patient and work the process…
  • @KetoneKaren - beautiful pictures of veggies! Awesome idea! Still can't believe that quart sized bag is 20g!

One day at a time! @fanncy0626- thanks for keeping us on track. Awesome suggestion to pre-log. I'm on it. I read KetoDiet links. Very insightful. I have my macros. Meal planning in…
  • @pwrfl1 - Two BIG thank yous! First, encouraging. Your success is outstanding! Second, best e-card EVER!
  • @fanncy0626 - thanks for the invite! I've been reading about Keto vs an Atkins style Lo Carb. Initially, I thought they were the same -- but, you're right- the diff is in the higher fat. I'm going to get reading the other info provided here and join this Feb challenge. Even if I don't know everything and don't get it…
  • How do you copy this from SL App to MFP?
  • I really wanted to finish my 16 weeks in this thread, but I'm a week behind. I have been posting in both threads..., so, I'll continue in the August thread.

  • Not specific to this program. A Workout Routine has some info about how to do both and so does the book Thinner, Leaner, Stronger. Do a google search for a workout routine. Also, there's a community group called Eat More to Weigh Less that has information, too. Hope this helps.
  • Week 14/Workout A/Total Wks 14 Squats - 5x5 @ 185lbs Bench Press 5x5 @ 97.5lbs. Fractional plates come in handy for this lift! Barbell Row - 5x5 & 115lbs. Afternoon workouts are agreeing with me, so far! Lifts going well. After 16 weeks, I'll be ready to change things up. Tomorrow is a Kettlebell day!
