I lift 5 days a week, working one muscle group per day and alternating abs and legs. I also do cardio 4 days a week, so yes, you can work a different muscle group every day.
-
Yes, and he did it because his car broke down and he needed to get to his job. OP is considering it to get some more walking in. BIG difference.
-
I have no specific plan. I do cardio 4 days a week and I lift 5 days a week working one muscle group per day and alternating abs and legs.

So it would have been better if he didn't tell her at all then? And sorry but I don't believe the whole "cheaters always cheat" rhetoric. I know people who have cheated on their SO's and ended up happily married to the person they were unfaithful with, and I know people who have overcome the betrayal and fixed their…

I have to say that this is the best response so far. I agree that he "ugly cried" because he realized he screwed up. People screw up all the time and people cheat for various reasons. I believe the OP stated he said that they had "gotten into a rut". To me -- who is a complete outsider who knows nothing about the…

Oh. Ok. Because no one has ever had a response that had nothing to do with the topic at hand.
-
Um, no sorry. You can be a marathon runner and have high cholesterol which will lead to atherosclerosis sclerosis.

Where are you people getting that I'm "anti olive oil"? I love olive oil. I use it daily. My point was that eating whatever you want in whatever quantities because "you're going to die any way" is a ludicrous way to look at things. That's like saying you should take unnecessary risks that could possibly endanger your life…
-
You could either: 1) Make half the recipe 2) Decrease the portions so there's more enchiladas which would decrease the calories in each serving.
-
Sure we're all going to die but why speed up the process with diabetes, arteriosclerosis and atherosclerosis? I'd rather live life well then live a life plagued with all sorts of preventable diseases.
-
2 hours is a long time to walk and I don't know about you but after putting in a full days work I'm exhausted and walking 2 hours home would be the last thing I'd want to consider doing.
-
How so? My weight fluctuates +/- 2-3 pounds a day. What "feedback" could I possibly be getting from those types of daily fluctuations?

If there is something lacking in a relationship then you need to sit down and talk about it with your partner. If you don't then yes, they more than likely will continue to cheat. Communication is key in a relationship. If you don't tell your partner what you want or need or what's lacking then there will be problems.
-
Just out of curiosity, why are you walking after your husband and kids are in bed? Why can't you all go out and take a walk together?
-
I found it funny that there was a pop-up on the site of an "article you might be interested in" entitled: "The Truth about Coconut Oil!" and explaining why it's not good for you as well.
-
I'm old school: I find I get the best results from good ole' Billy Blanks Tae Bo videos.
-
The only problem with olive oil is that there's the olive oil mafia and they're cutting the good stuff with sub-par oil and selling it as extra virgin.

So then people who have food in their house are going to have to resist temptation every waking hour because it's there and readily available. A good majority of them, yes. There are a lot of threads with people patting themselves on the back because they ate an entire pizza and then washed it down with a gallon of ice…

I love Billy Blanks. I've gotten back into those DVD's last month and do them 4 days a week. They give me the most bang for my buck and I've dropped weight and inches doing them.
-
That completely depends on who the franchisee is. I've been to a PF that has a squat rack and benches with olympic bars which is totally NOT the PF model. As for the pizza and bagels . . . NO ONE SAYS YOU HAVE TO GO THERE AND EAT THEM! Seriously, what really irks me is that 100% of the people on this site will sit back and…

What is the amount you're "supposed" to drink? Honestly, I try to drink 2-3 liters a day
-
@cwolfman13 - possibly a stupid question but how do you cook your beans in it? How long, what do you do etc. I have a lot of dried beans but I'm unsure as to how to cook them but if I can let them rip overnight in a crock that'd be awesome!
-
Why would a crock pot not be worth it if you're not cooking meat? True, I typically make meat dishes in mine but I've also made egg plant parm and in the summer when I'm canning sauce I make it in my crock pots. I've made non-meat based soups in my crock as well. There's a lot of recipe books out there for crock pots and I…

If you can do Insanity AND lift on the same days then power to you (and I mean that in a non-snarky way). When I did Insanity I was whipped and really happy that I was taking a gym hiatus. Just watch your knee since you have a previous injury because there's a lot of jumping. I screwed up one of my feet from all the…

Well, BS or not it does sort of help in keeping track with where you are. I was just annoyed when I saw that if I were a few years younger my BF would be significantly lower. For the exact same measurements!
-
I have found that to be highly inaccurate. I used to get it done every 6 months or so. I finally watched them do the calculations and it was all based on how old I was so the exact same calculation would have me at a lower body fat percentage if I was just slightly younger. That was an eye opener and really discouraging.…

If cardio isn't "necessary" then please explain why eating at a deficit and just lifting isn't enough for me. Please explain why once I add back cardio I drop weight and inches? And no, I'm not "creating a bigger deficit" because to me a whopping 190 calories "burned" is not enough of a "deficit" to get excited over
-
Depends on the person. For me lifting and eating at a deficit isn't enough. I have to do cardio in addition to lifting.
-
Yes, although my weight fluctuates 2-4 pounds daily due to water
-
Yup. Although I have a vacuum sealer which helps with the items not getting freezer burned.
