I am new to the group. My mileage is going to vary week to week as I am training for a 15k in September, so my goal is 3 runs a week- one long, one interval speed and one interval hills.

@alf1163 know where you're coming from. I have gained weight at times running 50 miles a week!! It's taken me a long time to believe that you can't exercise your way out of a bad diet, especially at 50! Here's to us both making better choices. Legs today.

Finished 4th in my age group in the trail 10K I ran yesterday. Move up to the 59-59 in September so I'll be at the young end once more!! It was a beautiful day on a scenic route- lots of fun!

A little pooped after last nights HIIT class. I am too amped up to sleep after it! It was a lot of running with tabata segments mixed in. My running felt really good so I'm feeling better about my 10K on Sunday Back, biceps, and abs for me this morning. Congrats on you PR @narak_lol ! Who says we can't still hit 'em?!

Legs then a 40 minute TM slow run.

Shoulders, triceps and calves. Weird combo but just following the program. Did a lot of skipping as the active recovery portion and calf portion. Getting better at it. I have a 10K trail race on Saturday that I am really not very well prepared for. I'm a little nervous about it- can't fake running!!

My niece competed there. She was a full time law student at the time. Not sure how many hours a day she trained. She has a few small sponsorships but not much when you consider the level she trains at.

Legs this morning. Going into town tonight for a one hour HIIT class. Been feeling tired and blah so hoping this will rejuvenate me.

Back, arms, and abs today then 30 minutes of sprints- 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off. My legs are shredded from yesterday but the running still felt good.

I need to restart. Coming off a bad week Goal is to get to 140 pounds by August 1. If I don't weigh myself regularly I get too far off track. Keep carbs at 20g except for a carb up meal every 3rd day- I discovered I needed to add some carbs every 3rd to 4th day after 3 months of doing LCHF. Just some fruit or a sweet…
