  • I looked at the workouts of hers available on iTunes and got ripped in 30... Think I'll start it today!
  • Oh oh oh I have one! When you're taking a break and you'd rather do a 4 mile run than play a video game! And you feel so good after that you do 30 day shred! Oh and those oreos aren't even tempting you but you sure want that apple :)
  • You are absolutely beautiful, both before and after! You've achieved so much and most importantly have a great healthy attitude and value yourself. Such an inspiration :) :)
  • I have a shepherd mix who's only 4 but doesn't like running! I mean, she loves to sprint flat out for a block and then walk a while, then sprint again. But she's not at all interested in coming along for a 6mph jog!
  • I always try to make sure I have a spare 200 calories by the end of the day. Usually I don't eat them, but it means I can fit in something else if I'm craving it. Dark chocolate is a great idea. My favourite thing is to have one chocolate liqueur -- nice dark chocolate with a little boozy hit! I find one is enough, and the…
  • Yep yep, I'm 5'9". To the previous poster -- 20lb loss on a tall person just doesn't look as noticeable as it would on a petite lady! To the OP -- at least it means weight gain is not so noticeable! But I get the struggle. Hard to stay motivated when you know it's going to take 40lb to see a real difference!!
  • Level 1 day 8 complete! Loving this workout, I find it really easy to motivate myself to do it. I don't find the workout easy though!! Looking forward to getting to level 2 though :) Good job everyone! Anyone seeing changes already? I dropped an inch off my waist... Prob has more to do with my deficit, but I'll take it!
  • A lot of different cultures have some kind of rice-and-beans recipe. It's really fun to try making them all because you learn a lot! I mean, these are inexpensive subsistence crops that have been made into wonderful varied dishes that are often vegan or can be adapted. Try Cuban black beans or Jamaican rice and peas which…
  • Thank you so much Shalu for this thread! Vegetarian Indian food is my all time favourite of all food! I can't wait to try your recipes! Did you already post one for shahi paneer? That's the best food ever to me!!
  • Me too! But I care more about the inches I think.. :)
  • I've been wondering the same thing, and I tend to have the willpower to eat less during the day because I know I get hungry at night! I feel like it goes against advice I've had in the past but I make it fit my calories... I guess I'll know if it's working once I've been at this for a while!

  • 30 and 30lb from goal and doing 30 day shred...lol.
  • Hi guys! I'm late to the party (a party to which, it should be noted, my neck is not invited) but I'm on level 1 day 5 and I love it! It's like pomodoros, you can totally handle intensity if it's a short workout. I weigh 162 and want to get down to 130. I really struggle with the push ups and with the side lunge with…
  • Hi! I'm doing this as well! I take a rest day if my muscles hurt enough that walking up and down stairs is difficult! But if I feel fine I don't take the day off. I think it's a good idea to listen to your body but stay honest with yourself :) I use 5lb and 8lb weights. Mostly 5 but the 8 when I want more of a challenge or…
  • Thank you so much! It's great to hear from you :) I've been tracking for just over a week and it has triggered a depressive episode -- but the difference is that now I can identify what's going on and take healthy measures to get through it. This is huge for me! I think depression/disordered thinking is most damaging when…
