  • I took your advice! The day before yesterday at the end of my cardio workout I decided to see if I could make it longer than 5 minutes...I got to 7. So yesterday I decided to see how long I could go if I tried exceeding the 5 minutes at the beginning of the workout.....20 minutes! Without stopping! I couldn't believe it!…
  • Thank you, everyone!!!!!

  • My best friend is a personal trainer and she also said that something people don't realize is that these cleanses clean EVERYTHING out of your system. So if you're on prescription meds that need to build up in your system, it'll wipe 'em out.
  • Of course, I know everyone is different...but I got a Mirena almost 2 years ago. I love it!!!! I don't get a period at all....I still get all the other lovely stuff that come with a period...I get a little crampy (and grumpy, LOL) and the girls are sore....but I have no need for pads or tampons.
  • Does anyone have a recipe for a not-so-bad-for-you Hollandaise sauce? Eggs Benedict is my favorite!!!!
  • Ok, let's start at the beginning....I get bored really easily unless what I am doing has a purpose (and I know everyone's going to say feeling better, looking better and being more healthy is your purpose.... but that stuff doesn't seem to get me going). For example, I love dancing. Just for fun. I'd love to take a dance…

  • Does the chest strap gimmick come with it, or is it something I would have to buy separately? Logically, it seems like it would come with it...but when I looked on the Polar website, it doesn't look that way.

  • Ok...sorry this is a silly question:blushing: ....but are you guys talking about the wrist ones? I've read a couple different things. Some people say to get one with a whole chest strap deal because they're the only ones that are accurate. Also, when looked online (which was a couple weeks ago, so I may not be remembering…

  • I cannot seem to get myself motivated....at all. I don't know why. When I first found this website I though it was awesome (I still do) and I was focused and did a good job of entering my food and exercise. Then slowing I starting neglecting to enter stuff...then I stopped going to the gym...then I stopped worrying about…
  • As I skimmed through a few conversations I noticed a suggestion about taking a class at your gym (if they're offered)....just a small piece of advice. If you're looking for something different, and you're thinking of taking a class, I would suggest watching one first if you can, being realistic about what you saw and maybe…
  • I've been told that if you're craving Fast Food Wendy's is the best place to go. Their grilled chicken sandwich is only one with a whole wheat bun... which makes a big difference health-wise. Plus you can switch up the side or for chili or a salad.
  • I drink quite a bit of coffee and tea during the day...can I count that towards my water intake? I try to get in at least 34 oz of water (that's the size of my water bottle, and I try to drink at least one a day). But it's hard to get much more than that when I'm also drink the tea and coffee. :drinker:
  • I'm certainly not an exercise expert...but I have lots of friends who are into keeping in shape (even one who's been in fitness competitions) they've all told me that you should give your body at least one a day a week to rest and repair itself. Exercise is (obviously, lol) awesome for you...but overtraining can cause…
  • THANK YOU!!!!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Does anyone know of a website to go to where I can enter a recipe and have it calculate the nutrition facts? I'm almost positive someone told me about one, but I can't remember what it was. I tried allrecipes.com but couldn't find it (I was logged in either, so maybe I have to do that???). Help!
  • What are the measurements for that? I'd like to try it!!!
  • Does anyone have any ideas for cheap by healthy food? I'm open to anything...whole meals or just snacks. My boyfriend and I spend anywhere from $120 to $180 on groceries per week. I buy store brand stuff whenever I can, but they don't usually have low fat/calorie versions of food. I buy fresh meat, mostly because the…
  • You can also buy it in packets to mix with a bottle of water. So far I've only seen Pink Lemonade, Iced Tea and Kiwi Strawberry (I think....it's been a while since I've had them). Kellogg's also make All Bran Fiber Water... I don't remember what flavors though.
