That is still very good though. I could burn an extra 1/2 pound a week if I added an hour a day of walking! Great work!
-
I thought that 60 minutes walking burns about 250 calories?
-
How has your January and February weight been?
-
Research and do be careful.
-
Great job!

That must be difficult for your sis to eat low carb while being a vegetarian? Congratulations keeping weight off!
-
I had a built in decent set point at one time. I want to get it back!
-
Same here. I don't want to eat something that has been secretly tampered with either!
-
I found going low carb before I started intermittent fasting helped. It helped keep my appetite and cravings down.

Your aunt is a character for sure.
-
Lol. :D ashes and worms and doodoo I tell myself, "That. Is not my food. It belongs to someone else."
-
I would like to think an aunt would be happy for your success! She must believe she is helping you in some twisted way? It is quite unfortunate if she is jealous. Maybe you could get her to join you in losing weight.

Oh I forgot that one -- "I ate already" is a good choice of words too.

Jayded, I would pour out the coffee in the restroom or tell her to take it to her home if she complains. Then she can reheat it for herself in microwave the next day. Or just drink a little bit. That is frustrating! You might want to buy your black coffee for yourself or monitor her while she is ordering before restroom.…

Good points. A lot of people just want permission to eat in front of you without feeling guilty. If they offer and you say, "no" they've done due diligence. Lol. I feel a bit conflicted when people give homemade food or a gift food. I don't want to seem unappreciative.

Jo, I'd make room for chocolate also. :p

I do find, "No thanks-- I'm not hungry," works really well. Most people shrug and forget about it. When they KNOW you want it then they will tempt you because they can tell that you won't stick to your plan. My hubby tempted me for a while at first but did give up when he realized I am serious. Most people think diets are…

Wow. Seriously? Boundary issues. When you get mad at her, she doesn't stop?

I slipped on ice and fractured my wrist in two places. I'm definitely ready for Springtime! Beautiful view, Daj.

I suppose it is good for a reality check and getting honest with where you currently stand, right?
-
Same. I don't like to see photos of what I don't want to be. I am motivated by a positive visual image of how I will look after losing weight.
-
Yes! It is important not to give up!

You can keep your thread relevant, current, and at the top by posting frequently. :)

So try to stay between 1360 (BMR) and 2000 (TDEE). If you don't go above 2000 you won't gain weight unless your activity level drops. That is your maintenance calories for your current weight. However as you lose weight it will drop because it takes less calories for a smaller person to maintain. If you want to lose weight…

You can do this!

Vinyladdict, great idea to have eggs and sausage at dinner and cereal and fruit for dessert. That way you don't miss out on breakfast type meals forever. My dad used to make crepes or pancakes for us at dinnertime once in a while. We loved it!
-
Yum! Now I want some! I always feel good after I have some salmon.
-
Nice, healthy looking choices on this thread. I love spaghetti squash, Daj!

Good for you, Daj! I find that relatives and friends don't pay attention too much as long as you eat a little "something" with them (even if it is a lower calorie choice).
