If your body hung onto fat when it was starving then famine victims wouldn't exist. Neither would eating disorders. Think about it logically for one minute...

Game Changers is complete propaganda. My partner is a sport scientist and quickly pointed out that: One of the Olympic athletes they claimed won due to his vegan diet, was actually doping at the time and was caught out for it. He won because he was doping, not because of his diet. The strong man competes in a class that…

Some gyms have two types of Olympic bar sizes, just check which one you use before you load plates onto it to make sure it's the one you want. You can do an OP with whatever works for you, so for example for me, I can't lift an Olympic bar over my head yet so I use the barbell that is less weight. If they have a barbell…

Ok so I think you are getting slightly confused by the terminology. Bar (or olympic bar)- usually weighs a standard 44lbs (most gyms will have the standard size) and looks like this, you add on weight plates to it as you need to. Barbells look like this and are a fixed weight which is usually printed on the side. You can…

An OP isn't done from the ground? Sounds like you're trying to snatch and OP which is a powerlifting technique. Overhead press is done from the chest up over the head. Note: you don't need to be using this much weight!

You look fantastic! Well done!

As someone who has done compound lifting and isolation lifting routines, compound (for me) blows isolation out of the water. I decided to experiment this year. This year I did 8 weeks of an isolation program (5 gym days a week) and got next to nowhere in strength. I swapped 3 weeks ago to compounds again (3 gym days a…

Wine, out and about is easier as the price of one glass is so expensive, but at home it's easy to drink a bottle of wine without blinking. I've swapped it for vodka at home, less calories and takes me longer to drink a glass with soda water.

Exercise has very little to do with weight loss. The diet helps you lose weight, exercise is for health benefits.

When I could run with no problems I loved C25K, I went from never thinking I would ever be able to run 5km to being a full-fledged running addict.

The infamous Dr. Neal Barnard, yeah he's a quack. The Forks over Knives doco he did has been thoroughly debunked.

It takes me 3 - 4 weeks for the water retention etc to drop off after starting back at the gym.
-
Depends on a lot of factors, for me personally with my lifestyle it's 3-4 days a week. As a beginner, I'd start with 3 days and see how you feel.

Go and see a personal trainer who can give you advice in person because you've received a lot of the same GOOD advice on here but you keep asking the same questions over and over. Count calories, weight train (focusing on the lower body to help build leg and glute muscle) and see what happens. But it'll take over a year, I…

No they said they think they look manly. I can tell by the way you speak that you are likely taking a lot of inspiration from Instagram fitness models. Stop following them, stop looking at them. Most of them are genetically blessed or have eating disorders, or have had surgery and simply lie about it. I can tell you right…

Unless you are getting your skin products from a certified dermatologist or a skin spa then they aren't doing anything. Supermarket, drugstore, Sephora etc, all of those products are pretty much useless because they don't have enough of the vital ingredients to have any effect on your skin. Retinol is a perfect example,…

I take a magnesium pill which helps me with water retention I've found. However, you do need to try and address the stress.

Weirdly enough I've started using a subscription food box for dinners and it has heaps of cauliflower in it, I'm starting to like it now! But it'll never taste like mash potatoes.
-
I tried cauliflower mash a few weeks ago and anyone who says it's exactly like mash potatoes is lying. Never again, sticking with real potatoes.

I have anxiety and IBS is usually a symptom of anxiety, when I get very anxious I get IBS, when I deal with the stress or anxiety, it goes away. In addition to working out what your tummy can't handle at the moment, it's also worth looking at your lifestyle. Are you stressed out or anxious about anything?

I quit the birth control pill in March and I am still dealing with the hormonal fall out from it!

peppermint tea is great for bloating!

In the past she said she didn't :)

Depends on if you have diastasis recti or simply a weak core. If it's diastasis recti then some PTs or physios specialise in helping heal this. If it's a weak core then pilates can help, or weight training or bodyweight exercises (plank etc), any exercise that really activates the core will help tighten the abdominal…

5:15am wake up By 5:40am at the gym By 6:40am finished By 7am home for shower and get dressed. Leave for work 7:40am I eat breakfast at work. I hate exercising in the evenings which is why I gym before work.

Honestly, I feel ya. I go to the gym pretty regularly but if I had it my way I'd never exercise. I have tried nearly everything over the years and the gym for me is the one that's stuck simply because it fits my lifestyle. However, even after 10 plus years of going on and off, it's still a struggle to get up and go. I do…

Fung has been de-bunked over and over and over again. Clearly, keto doesn't work for you because you can't stay on it long term, you say yourself you can't stick to it permanently, therefore, it isn't sustainable.

Isn't it literally just stock made the proper way?
