Thinner, Leaner, Stronger
Hi all, looking for a new weights routine and went to the usual "which weightlifting program is best for you thread". Looking at the Thinner, Leaner, Stronger does anyone know the split of it? I don't want to buy it if it's a 5-day split routine.

Fish oil, is it worth the calories?
My skin professional, (by the way I don't have any skin issues) has recommended I take fish oil. I also have mild depression and anxiety and have heard it can help with that. Whilst I have tried it in the past (my tummy did not agree with it) I thought I'd give it a go again. Until I realised the recommended dose is 10…

4kg
I feel ridiculous because for over a year I've been trying and failing to lose 4kg. The most I've lost in that time is 1kg. I know 4kg isn't much, especially as people here are trying to lose so much more. I'm bored to tears with my exercise (walking and weight training), I used to run but short tendons mean it's too…

Upping calories for weightloss
I work out 5 days a week for around 40 minutes and MFP gave me 1,300 calories which I can stick to for a say 5-6 days then ALWAYS go over by 500 - 1,000 calories. I'm basically stuck in this endless cycle of losing 800 grams then putting it all back on and sometimes more. I'm thinking that perhaps my calories are too low…

What foods do you hate but you wish you didn't?
I've tried so hard to like porridge but I just can't do it. The texture is just blurgh for me. Also don't like Peanut butter Greek yoghurt Protein shakes Smoothies

Now I'm confused?
I had a discussion with someone recently who said if you enter in that you'll be working out 3 x a week in your settings then you shouldn't log any exercise? She said, "you'll be double-counting and that'll mess up your calorie count and weight loss if eating in a deficit." Is this correct?

Painkillers, wisdom tooth extraction and all that fun stuff
So last Friday I had my wisdom tooth out, it's resulted in dry socket which is not fun. I'm on a cocktail of painkillers and it's seriously messing with my stomach, not only nausea but also constipation and bloating. I also had antibiotics so I feel like my body has been through a lot. Can anyone recommend some foods to…

Fit Bit Steps, to eat or not to eat...
I've used MFP multiple times over the years to get rid of extra weight but this is the first time I've been doing it with a Fit Bit. I've noticed that this time my weight isn't really moving and I'm wondering if it's because now I'm eating back the calories I've earned from walking (calories burned according to FitBit).…

Right back where I started & very unmotivated
I'm only trying to lose 3-5kg & tone up but after over 100 days I'm pretty much right back where I started. I lost 1.5 kg but now it's back on again. I weigh everything (except when I go to a restaurant) but i struggle to stay within my calories. My workouts have been limited due to calf pain (that's been going on for six…

Compartment Syndrome :(
I was wondering if anyone has ever suffered from exercise induced compartment syndrome? It's looking 95% sure that I have it from running. I have a test on Tuesday to confirm but I wanted to know if anyone here has ever experienced it? Did you end up having surgery?

When you're in denial!
So I've been feeling frustrated as to why the weight isn't moving, so I decided to check out the past few months and I realized that it's because out of 68 days so far, I've actually only been under my calorie goal 26 of those days! I only thought it was perhaps a day here and there, but no, some weeks the entire week I…

Any Kiwis here?
I'm in Auckland, New Zealand and wondering how many Kiwis use MFP? Feel free to add me as a friend :)

Still hungry but so confused.
I'm set to 1,350 calories a day, however most of the time I am starving hungry. I find it very hard to eat only this. I tried uping my calories in case it was set too low but I gained weight, I've checked my macros, most days I'm under my carbs, but up in protein and fat. It gets to the point where I'm snacking on whatever…

Starving on your period?
I know weight gain during your period is normal but I find my hunger levels go through the roof. I find it near impossible to eat my calorie limit (yet fine when not on my period). Does anyone have this problem? How do you manage it?
