Compartment Syndrome :(

I was wondering if anyone has ever suffered from exercise induced compartment syndrome? It's looking 95% sure that I have it from running. I have a test on Tuesday to confirm but I wanted to know if anyone here has ever experienced it? Did you end up having surgery?

Not me, but i have some knowledge of it. Stress fractures are much more common, but if you are sure it's exercise induced CS, it's an overuse issue (hypertrophy), so i would try static stretching & foam rolling it several times a day.
Let us know what you find out.1 -
i may have it but i never run, so i've never started the long bureaucratic process of trying to get it diagnosed. will be interested too.0

So after months and months of waiting, running in pain for weeks I had the test today and it was negative. Was sort of annoyed as this whole thing started in July and I've been told this entire time i was told it was "likely to be compartment syndrome". No one did any other tests, so now as this one was negative, I have to wait another three weeks to see the original specialist again who is more than likely going to refer me to another bloody specialist!
