I am super careful with my DD's hunger cues and things like sweets. I don't want her being the same way I was as a kid and even as an adult for the most part -- eating just because. I've noticed since she started eating foods that she knows when to stop, so I never tell her to eat everything. We do have a you must try two…

Every couple weeks normally since we don't have any decent pizza in my town and the nearest is 30 minutes away. Its just food guilt. We get it in our heads if we eat something "not clean" we won't lose weight even if we are within our calories. Just ignore that. If your eating nutritionally dense foods/ balanced foods most…

I do either vanilla protein powder in cold coffee (with a few tbsp of cream sometimes) which makes it taste sort of like a melted ice capp, or I do chocolate in hot coffee which makes it taste like a mocha. So good.

When I was doing a very low calorie diet (think 800 net calories) my hair was falling out. Are you eating enough?

I've been loving chicken, cubed cheese, grape tomatoes on a skewer, dipped in honey mustard as a quick lunch. like PP said above, roasted veggies are great, I mix some into pasta with chicken, on a salad or wrap, etc My DF hated raw veggies. He found a ranch dip he loved and just used the veggies to transport the dip into…

1. black coffee and water is fine, some people also use stevia/ other no calorie sweeteners in their coffee. 2. Yes 7 days a week. Sometimes life might happen, say a wedding or something where eating might fall out of my window, in that case I don't sweat it and move on the next day. 3. I will likely always eat like this,…

I never ever had morning sickness with my daughter or my son (31 weeks pregnant) but I always felt on the verge of puking for the first 9-12 weeks. Oatmeal, toast, crackers always helped. Taking my prental before bed was a game changer too, in the AM it just made the pukey feeling much worse. Basically in pregnancy you'll…

I LOVE PASTA, like I LOVE IT. But spag squash is actually really good, and I enjoy it to replace half or all of my pasta/ or if I want some very good bread with my squash, its less heavy than with pasta. Avocado rather than mayo in chicken salad, it just tastes so much fresher, and I never really liked mayo.

I find some brands just do not blend well. Otherwise, I add the powder TO the liquid and I use a fork to mix it, not a spoon or a blender, seems to work just fine.

The first year I stuck right with my deficit for the whole year. The second year I basically went back and forth between binging and restricting. When I resume being in a calorie deficit in mid august, I will be going for 3-4 months, then eating at mat cals for 1 month. Yes you will lose more slowly. But to me, its so…

I've made a mac and cheese using butternut squash, and still cheese obvi, but it was super good and creamy and had more nutrition then the traditional. I don't care for pumpkin, but I do like it in oatmeal in the fall sometimes.

I was doing 16:8 and will return to it after I have my second baby this summer. I really liked it. It was MUCH easier for me to stick to my calories because rather than have 4-6 small meals, I just have 2 really big ones and a snack. I LOVE feeling full until my next meal. For me, it helps me to stop thinking about food…

Rarely. We live 20 minutes from the nearest major city and they have AMAZING pizza, but by the time we get home its cold or lukewarm and isn't as good. We get it maybe once a month or every two months. Other than that its like subway, and its cheaper for us just to buy the cold cuts and buns and make them at home. I did…

Two weeks isn't a plateau. Just keep doing as you are and in another 4-6 weeks if nothing has changed then its a plateau. Add in some moderate paced walking in addition to anything else your doing, I find that always helps me without making me too hungry.

to stay consistent even with a toddler and a new born hot yoga (once I start up with regular yoga again) To be on the small to mid range of size L in lulu lemon (was so close before pregnancy) To try new recipes/ cold brew coffee at home To need the next set of power block dumbbells. (I know its not much to many but I was…

People can call their bodies whatever they want. If you think your curvy you are, if you rather be called fat, awesome. Must suck to have such internalized fat phobia.

I started at 360+ lbs the very first time, I was doing 1200 calories a day (I cry thinking about the food I could have easily had) but honestly, after a few weeks, no. I was VERY full on 1200 calories a day. I wasn't working out, nor moving much and 1200 calories was easily enough. As I lost weight and I started to workout…

I normally just cook a bunch of chicken and top salads, throw it in a wrap, or lately I throw some on a skewer with grape tomatoes and cubes of cheese, then dip in mustard with a side of baby carrots, its so good. I even throw some cooked chicken and veggies into broth and just have a soup. Zoodles and turkey meat sauce…

YUM! Bread and butter is basically my favorite thing ever. I honestly just don't buy good bakery bread that often anymore. When i do, I enjoy it so damn much. Since it isn't often I don't sweat it. Just don't keep it in the house if you'd rather eat something else as a go to, or pair a slice of bread and butter with a…

My husband works 10pm to 8:30am, his first meal of the day is at 6pm. He just has his log set up as MEAL 1, SNACK 1, MEAL 2. He normally just eats two large meals and a small snack.

I have the same issue with putting protein powder into oatmeal. It just never works for me and is super gross. So much so that the only way I will consume protein powder is in a coffee or a smoothie. :(

Talk to your doctor first before jumping in. IF is just another tool, like calorie counting. When I do it (third trimester right now, very low blood sugar so I have to eat every 2-3 hours max, will be returning to it after baby comes.) I do my window from 1:30pm-9:30pm. I tend to workout after my husband wakes up around…

I was 310 at 5'4 when I started after having my daughter and I was eating 2500 ish and losing 2-3 lbs a week. try the 2000 calories for a month, if your losing too quickly add a few more in. As for meals, you can really do anything you like. Today we had pork chops, grilled veggies and quinoa, yesterday was chicken burgers…

4 years, 160 lbs total. Two pregnancies in there.

My mom has always been very lean and she has almost always only had one meal a day. Its just what shes always done naturally and I've never even batted an eye at it. I found a lot of success by eating 2 large meals and a protein coffee drink. Whatever works for you :) And no, you can eat right before you go to bed, it will…

I'm 26, I had one big baby by c section and am due with another (likely large) baby by c section in August. I was 360+ lbs (maybe more, last known weight) and I am 5'4. My lowest was just under 200lbs, so 160 lbs lost. I still had a belly over hang but it was starting to pull up. I gradually put on all that weight over the…

Its very tart on its own, so you could mix in PB or honey, frozen then thawed blueberries take some tartness out as well. I love greek yogurt because its high protein and if you get plain, low in sugar. I would rather add my own sugar through honey or fruit.

Can you move your workout to like an hour before you break your fast or move your feeding window sooner? When I did IF, I had to move my workouts an hour before my feeding window. I suffered major energy dips other wise.

I need to feel full, so I always bulk up with veggies. I'm so glad other people eat massive salads too. When I go to like my moms or MILs house, what they serve for a salad is typically what I eat by myself haha. A full salad bowl of veggies, normally with chicken breast on it. I also like more acid in my salads then oil,…
