I had to come here and say, I took my first Aerial Yoga class on the 15th as a bday pressie to myself. As it was a beginner class or feet only briefly left the floor, but it was still fun...and challenging!!

Missed my mark in August and school is back on so I'm dailing way back for September. 25 miles for me. I'm so ready for September's cooler temps. Happy Birthday @workaholic_nurse ! All the cool kids are born in September ;)

No offense taken at all @MegaMooseEsq I'm a very cautious driver as well. Unfortunately, in the area where I live, aggressive driving is the norm. Had it been a crosswalk, I would have been angry at myself for not being attentive. I guess I was just so unsettled about how easy it would have been for me to hit her, and…

I've been so tired from work that I don't think I've run since....sometime last week. Between 13 hr days and disgusting heat plus homework, it's not looking good for this week either :( I have a question about something that happened tonight. I was driving home, well past dark and as I was about to make my turn, was…

This one is for my love. He died this past April. The EKG line is his and Two Hearts was his warrior name ❤️❤️ This one is in honor of my eldest brother. He died in January 2017. The anchor symbolizes his Naval career and the red roses remind me of the rose bushes he would plant each year for our mother Self explanatory. I…

I don't think I run long enough to need recovery foods. Leg massage and 1-2 whiskeys are my usual. I think I need to get a foam roller and try it out.

@KeepRunningFatboy, I thought about the story of his username. That drive and perseverance was very inspiring.

I do yoga daily but I consider that more of a way of life than hobby. Definitely helps with the running. I also lift weights. My goal is three times a week for that but I'm lucky if I get two sessions in. If only I were independently wealthy. Working and being a responsible adult could kick rocks then I could stretch, run…

@MegaMooseEsq I love the Dresden Files series! I listen to that one though as James Marsters (Spike, Brainiac) reads them. His voice...... I could listen to him read the dictionary.

It appears I am an outlier as usual. ENFP-T aka the campaigner. Makes sense.

Mine is Ewe wood with dragon heartstring haha...and my patronus is a white stallion.

I'm Hufflepuff as well! A last summer I took Psychology of Harry Potter and we were sorted into our houses, wands chose us and we found our patronus via Pottermore. It was such a fun and eye opening class. I chose to move 12 hours away from my hometown 8 years ago, so my friend group here is very, very small. Now that Brad…

Good advice. Yeah, I'm not going to be liking life the next few days. Hopefully my runners will hang on a little bit longer until I can replace them.

@marisap2010 I love This American Life. I find Ira's voice so soothing. @RunsOnEspresso those are great! They need a Will Run for Whiskey t-shirt!

You little *kitten* never made time for your dad. You constantly canceled on him and treated your mom as the second coming because she bank rolls your little hobbies. It broke his heart. And now, that he's gone, you want me to comfort you in your loss because you just can't deal? He forgives. I do not. And you only have…

I'm so very sorry. I know how you feel. I lost my s/o in April. While we never married, we were together six years and planned on the rest of our lives. He was my best friend and it's so hard to move forward in a world without him. Like many of the previous replies, I suggest getting in touch with a therapist. This is a…

@ereck44 I have to be an extrovert at my job as well. I love the solitude of running. I can think or not, it's just me against myself. I've found myself not talking or posting about my running, other than here, because people want to run with me. It's very nice of them but...no. I would be so uncomfortable. ETA: no run…

@_nikkiwolf_ thanks for the info! While I have a smart watch now that....kinda works...I'm saving my pennies for a Garmin. I'm thinking Stava might communicate a little better with it. @PastorVincent I'm glad that no one was hurt!! I still don't understand "no fault" here in PA.

Good. :)
