They really only give you the option to copy a meal to yesterday, today, tomorrow or the day after. I eat all my meals the same Monday through Friday (except dinner) so I just make a meal. Three dots, create meal and I call it lunch and then add that meal to each day of the week.

I need a calorie level. What I may consider "high" may not be what you're needed. Are you wanting refrigerated? Microwaved?

Honestly, I wouldn't use MFP as a starting point. I'd log how you normally eat for 2 weeks and see where your current intake is before MFP guestimates for you. Good luck! The biggest key to your success is knowing you won't always have motivation but sticking with the plan anyways. Also, not eating so little that you binge on the weekends. Weight loss is about going slow and finding ways to make it in the long term. You got this.

Even if that extra protein shake puts you above those daily calories? Weekends I tend to be more lax on macros. I eat the amount of calories but I do tend to veer towards more carbs vs protein sources.

You can't really "restart" your metabolism but you can increase it by doing a reverse diet. Start by adding 50 calories a week. You won't lose any weight most likely but after a few months of it, you'll be maintaining at a higher calorie intake so you won't have to cut calories so low to lose weight.

Just curious, are you weighing any of your foods or using measuring cups? I always ask when I see nuts and peanut butter in someone's diary just because those little *kitten* are tasty but very high calorie. Same for the chocolate chips. PS, your meals sounds rather tasty. Cookies and creme is disgusting, I agree. I love the plain ones like chocolate and vanilla. I LOVE the cookie dough one, pistachio, candy bar, and red velvet. Not a fan of the mint or smores and the pancake and waffles one is way too sweet for my liking. I've tried them all. :smile:

The weight before and after cooking will 99.9% of the time be different. So, if you can, log the raw weight and just divide the jerky into the amount of servings you want.

Oh geeze. So much Woo in this post. fruits and veggies have calories so the OP is right. You aren't actually eating 1,146calories/day. Also, someone else had a good question, how tall are you to gain at 1600 calories a day? I was going to check your diary out of curiosity but it's not open to the public.

I just read somewhere that milk was a good way to get those calories in. I'm actually thinking about going back to regular milk (away from cashew/almond) during my recomp just to change it up and get some other calories in. Popcorn is a good one. Eat a bag of that and you get 50 carbs and a decent amount of fiber. Bagels…
