So just signed on, I'm the worst at keeping track of anything so I'm hoping this can help. I wanted to also use the app but it needs access to my camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and other things I'm not comfortable with. Any thoughts?

Well, it asks for camera access because you can use your camera to scan food bar codes. Wifi--to save cellular data, and Bluetooth to hook up step-counting devices.0

It shouldn't NEED access to those things to work. Just say no to those options.0 -
well, wifi is if you don't want to use data
camera is to scan bar codes
Bluetooth is if you want to sync a fitness tracker
if you don't want those options, don't grant access. Easy as that.1
