Don't stress about the exercise, the diet is foremost. Once you are stuck on your weight, introduce whatever exercise(s) you feel comfortable with.

I was wondering how this 10 year old thread appeared out of nowhere. I have been in the same place as you for the decade as well (yoyo). You know what works, I guess you have to stick to THAT and cut out the stuff that you think you can just sneak a little of... Good luck!

Find your "whys". Don't try to tackle everything at once, baby steps work better than cold turkey.

You're doing it all wrong! First thing's first. THROW THE WATCH AWAY or STOP LOOKING AT IT. This is 99% of your problem, it's the same effect as watching the clock 3 hours before leaving work. Make sure you are eating PROPERLY and getting enough sleep. Carbs are great for energy, so it's normal to feel groggy when you cut back to lose weight

Beans, rice, veggies and fruit are the cheapest items in the grocery store. Grow a garden! Buying prepackaged frozen boxed crap is expensive.

Use your will power. Decline the invite, or have a salad. It's a LIFESTYLE change. I used to say I have a sabotaging spouse... but it's MY decision what I put into my mouth... not hers. You can't blame others.
