Alot of people swear by Ezekiel bread. But others say multigrain bread is just fine.

are there any pros and cons for each that you know of. Thoughts?

I eat all kinds of breads, but I enjoy the taste of Ezekiel bread with things like hummus or nut butter. I also find that it freezes really well, so it's easy for me to make a loaf last for a really long time.

    95% woo....

@bpetrosky hit the nail on the head.

Arnold or Walmart/Target HFCS/Sugar free whole grain are sufficiently similar as to make the comparison irrelevant.

I buy a store brand sprouted wheat bread (i.e. knock-off Ezekiel bread). I like it, and find it very filling. It's not magic or anything though, it's still just bread. If you like it, and it fits your nutritional goals, then eat it, if not, eat something else.

Honestly I think eating so much bread that you choose by anything other than taste might be a bigger problem than the type of bread you choose.

It's made with "live" grains and legumes (four different grains plus lentils and soybeans) vs. milled dry grains so it has more protein and fiber and less sugar and carbohydrates than most regular breads. It is a "complete protein" meaning that it contains all 18 amino acids. I eat an Ezekial English muffin with peanut butter for breakfast every morning and I do not get hungry for lunch until around 1:00 pm most days. If I eat a regular whole wheat muffin with peanut butter, I am hungry again within an hour or two. For me, it works. Try it and compare it yourself.

I like Ezekiel better only because I do not like how bread tastes with added sugar, I want my bread nice and savory and Ezekiel has no sugar. It freezes super well but can be kind of dry. It is also on the pricier side and I think may have a bit higher calories than other multi grain breads.
