Within reason, your rate of loss is entirely a personal choice. It isn't a race. Just do what works and is sustainable for you.

It must not be because there was a time when I ate more than that and my numbers where all good.

No, I just try to focus on balanced and nutrition stuff I enjoy that keep me full. I eat a lot of lean meats, seafood, eggs, vegetables, whole grains, fresh fruits, and dairy. I typically avoid fried foods, excess sugar, liquid calories, and anything I just don't like.

This ^ Weight loss and fat loss are not the same thing.

It slowed when I intentionally decreased my deficit because it was time to slow down. I lost 152 pounds with no plateaus. It is all about the calorie deficit.

Pretty much anything... This morning was cottage cheese and turkey sausage. It is also good with shredded potatoes. Oatmeal with powderedpeanut butter and sugar free maple syrup, shrimp and grits, sausage cheese and grits, protein pancakes, protein cheesecake, shredded potatoes with meat of your choice and cheese,…

Definitely start lifting. I recommend yesterday if not sooner. You are off to a great start. Just stick with it and before you know it, you will look back and be amazed at what you have accomplished.

Within reason, you can set your calorie goal wherever you want. It doesn't have to be 1320 or 1580. It could be 1450, for example, or any other number as long as it works for you. Also, as others have pointed out, it isn't the rate of loss that matters but the sustainability of it. Just do what works for you and that you…

Why? Because it fluctuates all the time for a variety of reasons as your body holds on to what it needs. Just be sure to drink plenty of fluids and your body will get rid of the excess.

Cheat? No Budget what you want? Yes Plateau is just a fancy way of saying you aren't maintaining a calorie deficit. I have dropped 152 pounds with no plateaus and many others have done the same. A few days is nothing. Weight loss and fat loss is not the same. Relax and let the process work.

The formula always works. Where it gets messed up is us. We don't know exactly how many calories we burn during exercise or exactly what our activity level is each day or how many calories are burned digesting different foods or how much waste is in our system or how hydrated we are and our calorie counting isn't perfect.…

Could be extra sodium or TOM or just because for no apparent reason but it definitely isn't 6 pounds of fat.

There are only 3 ways to lose weight a calorie deficit, a calorie deficit, or a calorie deficit. Anyone of those will work.

Oh yes or beans and cornbread, yum. As for protein sources, egg whites, Greek yogurt, and cottage cheese are your best bets although there are a few good plant based sources.

That would bring it up to 1200 per day average.

I am pretty sure that is supposed to be 10,000 calories per week. OP, if your total calories for the week are below your maintenance calories, you will lose weight. If not, you won't. It is really that simple.

1500x7=10500 800x7=5600 10500+5600=16100 16100÷14=1150 1150 <1200

This is much more in line with what I would expect. Fortunately, I knew better than to eat the whole thing, plus I still had a bunch of calories left, so I am good there just amazed they list it as that. I figured it was a typo that didn't get caught and that 53 should be 153 or 253. It is about the thickness of a typical…

It is supposed to be for the whole thing. It is supposed to be 53 calories per slice. They list it as that on their website and in the store but there is no way.
-
Yes but most people recommend eating back only half since exercise calories are typically inflated.

I believe you are thinking of Deon Sanders and his Prime Prep Academy. Michael Irvin was the one who got busted in the hotel room with hookers and coke.

I am fixing to make some fish tacos with corn tortillas, chipotle cream, and cheese. The tilapia would work well with some cilantro and taco seasoning to make the taco meat. It is very easy to make.
