-
nearly everyone in MFP done this
-
it is like an old cliche "too good to be true" but like me a lot of us will confirm it .. it is as simple as that .. provided honest logging is done
-
I was told MFP is rubbish and doesnt work!! but I know it does
-
honest logging is very important to keep on track. i would say dont think too much about it and do it as an important daily chore :)

Firstly, patience and perservence is key. Regarding, W/W you dont need it as you get hooked to point system and dont really how to control your food and adjust calories at your will when preparing food. For example, I cook a dish and weigh in each and every ingredient and just lookup the calories in MFP of each item and…

top tip - log all everything you eat in MFP and strictly follow the recommended daily calorie intake.

That was very helpful. Thank you guys

go easy on things you love to eat and do not stop them completely. Abrupt stop can lead to more temptations and ruin your weightloss schedule. Plan your food ahead within limits include a victory celebration meal may end of the week. Most importantly keep logging

MFP is great and you can do it for sure

everyday is a new day and a new start ... just keep working in and be motivated. you wil see results soon

Absolutely and maintain and little notebook where you note down the dish name and weight/calories of each items. add up the total calorie and divide by number of portion you wish to make. It will be very hard to achieve exact calorie but approximate will be closer to exact atleast. Best part is you will know how much you…

Asics are quiet good. might be on the pricy side but worth the money

beef lasagne with steamed carrots and peas. I wieghed in all the ingredients when preparing the lasagne so I know exactly how much approximate calorie goes in each portion and can log MFP
-
keep logging honestly all that you eat. it really helps to keep a check on calories. Follow the allowed calorie intake with regular exercise and results will follow. slowly but surely

feel free to add. good luck with weight loss

Make sure you eat enough during your principal meals ( lunch and dinner ) to reduce unnecessary snacking. One tip could be, a mixed fresh fruit bowl to munch on when you feel hungry at odd times. I found it good to keep away from high calorie off the shelf snacking items.

I found weekly weighing helpful. Sunday morning before breakfast with same set of light clothes works out well. Idea is to keep it simple and reasonable. I must emphasize that you choose the same place of weighing like hard kitchen floor or somewhere suitable where you get a consistent readings. Hope it helps :)
