  • I log it as circuit training :)
  • I'm starting week ten tomorrow, I also do a 2 hour hike everyday and a half hour cross training session so not sure what my results would have been just doing body rev. I'm down 20lbs and about ten inches all over (combined)
  • I usually take my dog on a much longer walk and then I do a 20 min stretch session to make sure I'm all ready to start my work outs again on Mondays :)
  • Between 2400 - 3000 depending on what I'm doing. Average day is around 2600 :)
  • Mine didn't work today either so nearly had a heart attack when I saw I was -700!! I disconnected the app from mfp then reconnected and now it's all fine again and I can exhale and not regret shovelling that Easter egg into my face
  • If you only drink it once a month - tell him it's what you crave when you get your period and can he give any insight as to what you could have instead to satisfy the cravings you get from bleeding out of your vagina. That should make him awkward enough to never want to see or speak to you ever again. And will stop him…
  • I had an appointment with my heart specialist this week and the nurse told me my bmi was too high and I need to lose weight - the doctor told her off and pointed out that I was clearly very lean and it was muscle weight. They really need to change the use of bmi for medical practices. While it can be a marker it's hardly…
  • My Fitbit is pretty accurate. I get about 20,000 steps a day then my workouts are recorded on top of that. At the end of the day my calories 'left' are the same within 20 cals on mfp and Fitbit. I've had the Fitbit for about 10 weeks now and it took a bit of fiddling with my activity level on here and making sure the goals…

  • I tend to not bother weighing myself if my period is near my weigh day (mondays) I know from experience that I gain a few lbs and it takes maybe a week to get back to normal. If you're sticking to your calorie and exercise goals then there's nothing to worry about :)
  • I love a good cup of coffee, especially before my morning work out but I just can't see how it can give the results they're hinting at unless you do something really drastic alongside it... Maybe I'm just a sceptic but reading some of the comments on the Facebook posts, I feel a little sorry for these girls that are paying…
  • Yes! It's so annoying!! My weigh in and measure day is a Monday morning and I'm 2lbs up today because of my stupid period. I know I have not gained 2lbs in the last week and my body fat measurement has gone down (which brain ignores because weight has gone up haha!) but it's still incredibly annoying!
  • www.myprotein.com You can use my code and get money off your order, I think it's an extra 25% HELEN-R1WT And this is the women's sample box https://m.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/active-women-sample-box/11332614.html?_ga=1.264703503.1268087191.1425225179 I'm not affiliated with them at all, I have just used their stuff…
  • I use myprotein and they've just brought out a range aimed at women wanting to lose weight... the same awesome punch of protein but half the calories. I've just had the sample box and will be switching to this new type when I'm done with my current batch. The chocolate flavour and toasted marshmallow is really nice, I have…
  • Why don't you manage your food diary so you still have enough calories available in the evening to be able to have a snack when he is... but make yours slightly healthier - popcorn, or fruit, apple slices or oatcakes with peanut butter... orrrr work out during the day and have that bar of chocolate or a smaller portion of…
  • You won't. Don't worry. You don't lift heavy enough weights on that program and unless you're seriously weight training, women don't tend to bulk up :)
  • I've been using myprotein for years. Long before they introduced these new products. I don't use the women's powder but I do use the skinny hot chocolate and their multi vitamins aimed at women
  • Myprotein do a range of powders and snacks for women. They also sell sample boxes and packs to try and do loads of flavours, not just chocolate :)
  • I use myprotein, they have a range of women's products. I have their protein shakes (I either have an actual shake or put a scoop in my oats for breakfast) and also the skinny hot chocolate which is so good! :) as for supplements, I just take a multivitamin. A regular coffee with almond milk to start the day and then a…
  • I do the body revolution work outs and even though I feel like I'm dying and sweating after, I burn between 160-190 cals a session so you don't burn as much as she makes out you will :) it's a good work out though and I tend to see it changing the shape of my body rather than dramatic weight loss, when she claims you'll…
  • It will even out during the day... I start on -250 ish! :) I think mfp also subtracts the amount of cals you'd have burned anyway in that time frame (when you were working out, from if you'd just been sat on your bum!)
  • I read an article saying something similar. I do my weight training in a morning and my little baby abs are coming alone just fine  Have a snack half an hour before you work out, if it will make you feel better, doesn't have to be a giant breakfast!
  • Everyday, If I eat my exercise calories I gain weight... I've found the magic number that works for me so I'm sticking to that!
  • I'm 5.4" and eat around 1500. I do half and hour circuits with weights 5 days a week and an hour of cardio 6 days a week and walk my dog for about 90 mins a day. It does mean I have a large deficit but when I upped my calories I gained weight... Everyone is different! I've lost 14lbs since the end of January this year
  • I was super fit and got a heart issue so didn't train for the entire of 2016. I found out it wasn't serious in Jan so decided to get back to my former self :) it's scary how easy it is to gain weight and how hard it is to lose it! :o
  • My goal is 1lb a week, it's never been 2, and it's given me 1200 cals for both settings unless I change to active. I was never eating 1200, always more but I'm not really active, I sit on my bum all day at a computer! I do work out too, but when you read what the definition of active is, it's not me :) I'm 5.3 and…
  • I have Cadburys everyday smeared with peanut butter. I lose around 1lb a week, sometimes more, sometimes less :)
  • Thanks for the info! I will look at those, I like the idea of being able to synch :)
