Yay parfait! I don't worry so much now that I'm actually doing something to make myself healthier it's way less stressful. Honestly I just had a bad relationship with food and since I broke up with beef it has been a lot easier to not drive thru on my way home while eating my feelings

I burn about 1800-1900 on a completely sedentary day, 2000-2100 on a normal relatively sedentary day, and 2200-3000 on a deliberate activity day depending on the activity.
I am obese, however, so I burn a lot just existing. Might want to take that into consideration if you're comparing.1 -
Between 2400 - 3000 depending on what I'm doing. Average day is around 26000
-
A sedentary day - c. 2000 cals
(I don't have many completely sedentary days.)
A normal day - c. 2500
(It's that mythical average for a mythical average male! I'm 5'9", 174lbs, 57YO)
My workouts vary enormously from 250'ish for an hour of strength training to several thousand when cycling, highest recorded day 6500.1 -

Ya me too, I don't know where the obese/overweight line is but I think a good bit of my burn is for breathing, moving my blood around important stuff like that.

According to fitbit 2300 on a day i managed just 813 steps (really sick) and 3600 on a 15, 000 step based day
I dont really trust it but i like the stats and challages from it so ill keep wearing it0 -
Somewhere over 3,000 and I don't understand this "normal" stuff. A normal day for me includes a bicycle ride. When I have time for a long ride, I may burn more than 4,000 calories.1

I run daily, and as a 32 yo 5'1" 104 lbs female I think my TDEE is around 2100 or so.0
-
I walk 4-5 hours every day and 15 minutes sport bike, but I have no idea how many calories I burn.0

About 2700-2800 on a non-workout day (usually still moving some)...3300-4100 on a normally busy day with a workout - about 6 days/week. 54yo male, 5'11", currently 213.0

Male, 39, 5'9", 188 lbs, just over 3000 on average0

It changes so much from one day to the next. (That's why the TDEE method makes no sense to me.)
Yesterday I burned 1,265 on a long bike ride (hilly 40 mile loop) and got 2,500 steps. Saturday I got about 700 on a hike. Today I'm working and the forecast calls for rain. I'll exercise after work but the numbers will be a lot smaller.2 -
Usually about 600-700 at the gym and another few hundred during the day with steps and working around the house. Wish I could burn 2000/2500.0
-
From 1600 to 3000 depending on how active I am. I'd say 2400 in average (20k steps).
Female, 39yo, 5'5", 140 lbs.0 -
If I do nothing other than my normal day to day stuff, I burn around 1,700ish, if I go for a longer walk I can burn up to 2,200. But I am on the shorter side, I have an office job, and I am within a normal weight range for my height.2
