Ok here it is. Final weight loss challenge update. This thread has been like the walking dead show. I can't stop watching it now, but i can't wait for it to be over. Since nobody ever reads back enough and only cares about their own long *kitten* post here is one from me. I started off on January first weighing 321. Im now…

Glad to know what I've been doing has a proper acronym, OMAD. I'm busy enough throughout the day that i pretty much only eat dinner and i get to enjoy that meal. If i eat a small breakfast, a small lunch, then a small dinner im always hungry and wanting to snack which is a *kitten* feeling IMO. on OMAD i know im eating up…

Lost 8 lbs this week and hit the 40 lb milestone dead on. Ill post final results after after he gives me his totals. Let me be clear again, i did not lose weight for the money. It was something i was going to do regardless. No harm in having a little fun while doing it. Plus i enjoy winning, especially other people's money.
-
Getting my neck back a little more each week. hit the 40 lb milestone this morning.

@zyxst - i knew of MLM in a non-weight loss format, but i did not know that those workout programs were operating on a MLM platform. So you can "make money" from recruiting other people to buy-in and then sell and recuit others to do the same aka pyramid scheme aka MLM? Very interesting. Thanks for the "im a whiner"…

I have consistently lost weight almost daily with the calorie deficit approach. I still have a long way to go but im committed and will continue pushing. I should be very close to my 40 lb milestone at tomorrow's weigh in. If not ill get it the next week.
-
@Tiny_Dancer_in_Pink , thanks. High five back at you. You're one of my first MFP buddies and i can't remember reading one whiny post. Thanks for that.
-
Its really simple. Burn more calories than you eat aka calorie deficit. Eat whatever you want as long as you maintain a calorie deficit. After you are maintaining a nice deficit and have adjust to it then you can fine tune the portions and macros. Keep it simple for as long as you can.
-
@Look_Its_Kriss , they sure have. Calorie deficit is all i need. I don't work out, don't care about working out. Burn more than you stuff in your face, pretty easy concept. You showed me light early on and it works. Calorie deficit is all this guy needs.
-
I sent requests and accepted others. @cathipa - i don't know what an MLM diet is. My diet is simple. Maintain a calorie deficit. @size102b - my kids are younger. I get to hear multiple tones of whining but i still love them.
-
Contest is over next week on Wednesday. I believe the Challenger was trying to workout at home and eat less. I don't work out. Straight up, calorie deficit for the win.
-
I hear enough whining from my kids at home. I understand that some of us are on the same Journey but my tolerance for internet whining is pretty low.

You got this. Don't give up on yourself so quickly, push through it. Its all about calorie deficit and maintaining a deficit. Burn more than you put in and the weight will come off 1 to 2 pounds a week. That's adds up pretty quickly. This app makes tracking what you eat super easy and you can do it.
