I do at least 8k steps/day and workout 4 times per week. I'm slowly considering keto habits... but will go slowly like i said.…

I always try to balance my food intake. If I know I'm going to eat at a restaurant, I make sure I eat healthy or light the rest of the day. If my son wants a donut, burger or ice cream, and I have to take him (therefore I know I will have one too.....) I make sure I exercise at least for an hour and burn at least 400…

HI and welcome! be patient, shedding pounds can be difficult at times.. depending on you caloric intake and exercise. Just concentrate in eating well..not much processed foods.. and if you don't exercise routinely, start with something easy as walk the block... there's plenty of choices. :) Best of lucks!!

when you do grocery shopping, try picking fresh, non processed items, read labels.. cook simple recipes, broil meat, steam veggies.. use spices and olive oil/vinegar.. eat salads with good proteins.. you'll do okay! best of lucks!! add me as a friend if you'd like! :)

you will get far and you will meet your goals, first step is to be true to yourself and commit. Do your research, eat the most simple recipes... from broiled meats to steamed veggies... prep your daily meals... it's all kind of hard at the beginning, but as you see results and you organize yourself, it will become easier…

I am prepping my breakfasts only as I start into this make-ahead menus. Lunch is always light at work and sometimes I skip dinner because my last snack is at 4pm and I'm still at work. I think besides the suggestions of other (eat less calories-yes!) you need to do some cardio exercises as well as some weight training... even if it's with 5lbs wts.. 10 minutes of anything you might feel comfortable. It's a step by step getting use to. How is your water intake? Sodium? My suggestions. Best of lucks!!!

What you believe and know because of experience, should be what matters to you. This is your journey and when the day comes that you reached your goal and she sees it, you can say "i told you it works". :)

Love my pressure cooker/slow cooker, my cast iron skillet, my nutribullet and my panini maker!!! I recently got a waffle maker but haven't used it yet. Need to find good simple nutritious recipes for that.

Sugar is not to be omitted from your diet. Your brain needs sugar. We function with the help of sugar. What needs to be done is as we all know, follow a balanced diet. Everything in moderation. Be mindful. That is all.
