@Peach7911 and @shadow2soul you both look incredible!! Gives me some hope that I will get there eventually. I started at 278.6 and today weighed in at 226.8. Still have a long way to go but I am making progress!!

We have been trying for 2.5 years now and found out our issue was MFI but I have been losing weight so we can do IUI with donor sperm. Having a baby is a huge motivator to me but it’s definitely not my only reason for the weight loss. Good luck!

YouTube channels like fitness blender and popsugar are my go tos for at home workouts! I also like the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels. If your looking for a strength routine there is a post with lots of options. I like nerd fitness. Being 2 months out from a c section I would definitely suggest starting slow and low…

Take a walk if I get snacky I also use the thought process from Beck’s Diet Solution and put myself in the mindset of “no choice” when I am thinking about eating something I shouldn’t. I keep a list of my whys for weight loss near me.

You might want to post this in the maintaining weight forum to get a better response! Congrats on the loss!!

My husband and I love these as well. We like the fudge brownie and peanut butter cup ones the best but so far we haven’t found a flavor we don’t like

I think it’s not up to me to decide what is best for others. However, I am a RN and worked on a surgical recovery floor for 4 years. Our hospital did the sleeve procedures so we would have those patients post op. We would also have admissions for any medical patients who may undergo surgery such as bowel obstructions etc.…

Today I noticed my scrubs fitting much better. I have a looong way to go but this made me feel better today 😀

Awesome idea!!! 3 things I’m proud of today: 1. My husband and I both walked 5 miles today 2. I stayed under my calorie goal 3. I bought a yoga mat and some 10 pound weights for some light strength training 😊

Just adding to the thread. Ovulation is usually my biggest issue with “weight gain”. I’m always up a couple pounds and then the next week it wooshes off. I don’t usually have extra hunger or cravings around my menses so I guess I’m lucky in that regard. Everyone is different but I did notice many people say they up their…

We just bought the fudge brownie today!!

Honestly if you are looking for new recipes I tend to have the best luck with Pinterest. I find lower calories recipes and then log them into “my recipes” on MFP. The best part of CICO is the flexibility.

I’m in! Request sent 😊

I’m still trying to figure all this out as well. However, I find that if I save a good amount of my calories for later in the day I don’t want to snack as often. I also try to keep myself distracted and constantly moving until I go to bed.

My husband and I elected to cut alcohol out entirely. For a short woman 5’4 my calorie intake is quite low. But we have different reasons too as we are trying I have a baby so alcohol just doesn’t fit with us at This point. But we do miss having a drink every once in a while. Not as much as I thought though! I hope you can…

Yes. I can fluctuate as much as 2 pounds some days but I can usually identify why. It’s either I ate something packed with sodium the day prior, I didn’t drink enough water, or it’s a cycle thing. Don’t be discouraged!

I can’t wait to post on this thread! My husband and are doing this together too! He’s seriously the best person I know

I have found that I have to update it as I go as it will not automatically change. I do this like once a month or so but you could do it weekly on weigh in days. This is my experience at least!

Wow, what an amazing accomplishment!! Congratulations! You are so inspiring

My husband and I did WW last year before they switched to Freestyle. I lost 30 pounds and the hubs lost almost 50. We ended up stopping because of some family issues that got us off track. When we got back in the game it was freestyle and we didn’t like it. I stumbled across MFP and absolutely love it. And the best part is…

I wish I could do this. But I notice if I eat those processed foods or get McDonald’s for dinner that I’m starving in like an hour and ending going over my calories anyway. I do try to build treats in but they have to be low calorie. There was one time I just got a mint Oreo blizzard for dinner but I had been craving it…

So I’m a late night snacker too. One of the ways I combat this is to try to save the bulk of my calories for later in the day. I also had to “retrain” myself not to eat later on.

I am actually just starting the infertility appointments. I am seeing an NP on Tuesday. I know I need to lose weight as I have a very unhealthy BMI, and like you am using the baby idea as motivation. I hope you have success with IVF!

Start Weight: 278.6 on 2/18/18 Challenge Start Weight: 264.2 Challenge Goal Weight: 244.2 Weigh-in #1:262.4 A positive thought I had this week was: this week was a mental struggle this week due to a work meeting that ended up not going well. What was a way you made exercise simple? I’m trying to incorporate this regularly into my life but it’s just been a hassle!
