Poptarts and milk.

I tried a water proof iPod and it lasted all of a week, the water somehow got in and broke it. Total waste of money. So now I pass the time by thinking about how much I love running lol.

I usually have a pop tart 😁

I don’t do keto, and I manage just fine. The biggest things that helped me was always making sure my meals had some sort of protein with it, and making sure I got enough protein every day. For example, for breakfast I’m still going to eat that pop tart, but now I also drink two cups of milk with it for 20+ g of protein and…

There’s another way.. head to the store and pick up some cold ones!

Agree with the podcast suggestion, I also like to take new routes and explore my city. Nothing quite like seeing it all on foot. Don’t be afraid to pause for a second to take pictures of cool things and take in all the sights.

You did well, just take it easy and give your body some time to recover. We all heal at different rates. Is it just soreness or does it feel like an injury? Stretch, foam roll, and do some gentle cross training!

Could it be the cold weather maybe? My husband coughs after but he has severe GERD, acid reflux. I’ve never coughed after running. Might be best to see a doctor....

Ding ding ding , we’ve got a winner! Yup my mom was one of those parents that bought the unfrosted ones lol. Made me so sad! Now that I’m an adult I only get frosted 😁

I love trail running but I’m in a pretty flat state and I’ve never seen a rock here, it’s mostly sand. However there’s still lots of ruts and roots so watching your footing is always a concern. I’ve taken a tumble or two but luckily never anything serious, I’ve always just gotten up looked around to make sure no one saw…

Swim 😊

I agree. Just no..... lol
-
I always run through the station and drink, you can pinch the cup which makes it like a little funnel into your mouth lol.

Nope exercise doesn’t make me hungry it actually curbs my appetite. The longer the run the longer I’ll go without eating and have to force myself. After doing a marathon I had to practically force feed myself. Everyone is different. Eat your workout calories if you’re hungry, you earned them!
-
Are you doing any cross training? You could look into incorporating swimming, you’d get a great cardio workout yet it’s easy on the joints. Only downfall is it’s super boring compared to running!

I screwed up my knee a couple weeks before my marathon, it was huge purple and swollen. I tried lots of things, including curry with tons of tumeric in it. I don’t know if it actually helped, heck it may have been just the Advil, ice, rest or a combination and multitude of other things. I was desperate to try anything I…

Me too, I like fresh basil on my pizza lol.
-
Because why would you run if you don’t like carbs? Carbs fuel runs. I really couldn’t imagine chugging bone broth at mile 25....

Chili

Yep definitely all of the above!
-
Haha 😂
-
Right now it’s two cups of milk and a poptart.
