A side question about Watts. If exercise equipment gives a display of Watts is that purely mechanical energy or is it multiplied by a value to give a typical energy used in the body? I vaguely recall that the body is about 30% efficient for converting chemical to mechanical energy.

I'm a university student, I go to university 7 days a week. I haven't found eating at university particularly difficult with the exception of vegetables since I live in my car and don't have access to refrigeration. I don't want to go to the supermarket daily. What problems with food do you have?

When I restart at the gym, I always start at 4.0 km/hr for 30 minutes. I can do that when I haven't run or exercised for months. That's slower than walking speed. That's a 24 minute, 10 second mile.

That's gross. I suggest that you buy one of those carpet rectangles with the cutout for the base of the toilet. It will absorb the drops and just wash it once a week. It's also handy on cold nights so your feet don't get cold on a wooden floor.
