Thanks again Karla maybe too honey according to my recent post too! Guess what was using up the skinny milk in the mean time. Just chatting to a doctor friend who said she tried keto and it didn’t work she then said but actually I didn’t do it correctly 😂 so not keto then!

It’s helpful to hear Karla thank you for kindly supporting me 😥as it’s frustrating but I can never understand how some people can just have one slice and feel satiated. Particularly when hormonal. I had all the then was looking for a snack four hours later!

I can! Yep me too! I think the key, from what everyone says to me is get back on it. I’m sure the experienced ketoers will offer their expert advice. I think also looking at the cause /trigger. Fantastic response thank you all so much. Half and half I thought you meant semi skimmed milk, possibly my ignorance (likely) but as far as I’m aware we don’t call whipping cream half and half... I had skimmed milk (using it up honest!) again today and some 85 % chocolate and that was enough to feel awful by 9 am - was up…

Try I’m sorry to hear you have struggled. I do relate though. I find that intitial carb rush quite euphoric but then I feel awful and want more. It’s quite hard sometimes to listen to what the body wants or what the mind wants. Tiredness, stress and hormones (and recently being ill) reduce my resolve and increase cravings.…

Freckle path thanks for sharing this - I love that it’s not an excuse to binge. My husband came home with a loaf of freshly baked granary bread and at the time I thought “just one slice” it wasn’t just one slice... Back on it today - Black coffee for breakfast pouring away the skimmed milk !

This is great news elhana thank you for sharing and I hope you continue to see improvement. I’m so pleased you mentioned energy improvement. I am risk of overeating when I’m really tired so fingers crossed don’t get the dreaded keto flu! Well done you though for making the change 😀

Thanks gimmekimchee. I love running too- well I did. I used to fine if I got tired from exercise my mood could dip and sometimes I’d down found hard to exercise. My feeling down is undoubtedly hormonal related thought. How have you found your energy levels on keto?

You see I’m 5 ft 5 and ten stone two pounds but look chubby yet my bmi is 23.... so I guess it’s not just in the weight!

Everyone lies - so sorry to hear this. Also worried too as I am so susceptible to low mood at this point, I haven’t managed to stick at keto yet but would be motivated by improved mood.

How do you folks get out of the habit of breakfast? This is my downfall and where actually where most of kcal Comes from but when I wake up I Am moody and want something. How do you prolong your fast or just get your mind off food?
