Here I am again….fat and sassy, not so much feeling hot!….gained almost all of my 110 pounds back….been feeling very sorry for myself….but here I am….trying to catch up on all of your posts…..glad to see some of you are still here…I will try to be here more….

Laurie has inspired me ( kind of sort of ) to have a vegetarian dinner….zucchini with garlic, onions, and one tsp. of olive oil, sweet potato and white potato diced and roasted with 1 tsp. Olive oil…..roasted asparagus, and a huge mixed salad!…bunnies everywhere!

So far today has been pretty good….coffee for breakfast, roast beef sandwich and tomato soup for lunch…I took grandaughter to school, ran a few errands and picked her up after school…nothing exciting!

Yoolypr I usually eat back 25% to 50% of my exercise calories….if I don’t, I am starving later….it’s amazing how a swim break to eat some yogurt or a banana or a protein bar and some water helps you power through!

Last year when I was swimming like I was supposed to be doing ( and will be again in a few weeks ) I burn between 300 and 500 calories from exercise….I ate a protein bar or some yogurt and a banana to keep me from starving and I drank Zero Gatorade or water on swim breaks…I was still burning more calories than I was…

I don’t think I am the leader but I knew this small but mighty group had to keep going after Novus abandoned us!…people that need to lose or have lost a significant amount of weight do have unique obstacles to overcome that someone who needs to lose 10 or 15 pounds can never understand!

I seasoned the chops with 4 tsp flour, salt, pepper,thyme and a pinch of paprika….heated 4 tsp olive oil then I fried them up and blotted with paper towels before we ate them….trimmed the fat and cut the bone out!

We had “ fried” ( if you want to call it that! ) pork chops, sliced tomatoes, cottage cheese, and a Birds Eye Steamer with vegetables and rotini pasta in it….I am stuffed!

I am lucky that I like almost all fruits and vegetables but unless I am dieting, I usually skip them!…I either do it all or nothing!…( crazy, huh? ) Scoutmom, I love peas and corn and green beans….I do like my mashed potatoes with green peas….I love beans, too….I put diced onions in my tuna salad and in my side veggies…

Let’s see….today I had corn,black beans,tomato sauce,canned diced tomatoes,a half green pepper,a half red pepper,…..I think that was it….car is back so I can forage tomorrow for fresh foods!
