You can take care of the nasty snacking habit by getting rid of your snacks. Make sure you have healthy alternatives before you start craving those snacks. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
-
Great job! How many miles is that?
-
Best way is to log everything, and then go back and determine what is working for you. Best of luck!

Same. I am also not exercising on Saturday as well. My Monday starts off with a walk to the gym, and I usually average 10,000 steps a day, even without Saturday and Sunday. Close anyway.

Sorry to hear about your father passing 😭. That has to be tough. How are you coping now? Obviously, take the time to get back to a good space.

@lindamtuck2018 Fantastic loss this week! What are some of your goals that are helping you be successful? I have updated my activity level in MFP, from slightly active to active. That way it allows me more calories. I just have to make sure and stay active. I’ve pretty much dialed in my macros and ingredients. I’m working…

Injuries suck big time. Not only can they keep you from working out, depression can set in. Try to keep N attitude of gratitude, and make smart food choices while you are not as active. Especially cut down on the carbs. I mean way down. Good luck!
-
It’s only gonna happen. 1 of 2 ways. Less calories, or more activity. If you want to eat those carbs, then it’s fine. You just need to convert them to energy by being more active. If not, they go right to fat.

I would encourage you to log everything starting now. And I mean everything, down to the teaspoon of sugar in your coffee. It’s like setting up a budget. You see what you are actually eating for the first time into knows when, and you will progressively change that intake to better choices. Also, make friends so that you…

I agree, Whole Foods are the way to go. Easy to shop, easy to prepare, and simple to log. I don’t understand why you would not want to weight yourself tho. I weigh everyday. It’s up, it’s down, and sometimes it hasn’t changed, but it is key in knowing what is working for me. And it gives me a tremendous feeling…

I know it may be hard, but look at serving your mother-in-law as an act of love and not duty. Period. Just keep in mind that she is near the end of her life and she need you even if she doesn’t know it. This is a challenge that God has said before you, and he knows full. Well, you can handle it look to him for strength and…

What is NSV?

Get rid of the cranberry juice and put some peanut butter in there. That is what I do for my early protein shake.

What about cutting the grass?
Can you let @prodigal6766 know if you can convert cutting grass into steps?
I can give you the step count. I just wondered if it qualified. Seems that it would.

I do breakfast at 6 am, a protein shake at 10 am, lunch at 1 pm, and dinner at 5 pm. For lunch, I have a fruit/veggie smoothie with a can of tuna. My smoothie includes: 2 cups power greens 1/2 cup blueberries 1/2 cup strawberries 1/2 avocado 2 tbs ginger 3/4 cup whole milk yogurt 1 tbs honey 2 cups ice and water I love it,…
When you report your steps also give Megan the length of time you swam and if it was leisurely, moderately or vigorous effort. Swimming is an excellent form of exercise as you are working so many muscles.
What about cutting the grass?

Do I need to re-up for January? If so, here I am. Do I need to do anything else?

Looks like you’ve been coupled up all week. What is your daily goal? It’s a new year, so get crackin’.

Sorry for the loss of your mom. Take time, and then when you’re ready, do what must be done. Praying for you and your family. 🙏
