  • Hi! I'm new and determined. I've been on MyFitnessPal for a long time but mostly just to track foots and calories. I want support friends. Feel free to add me. I'll post a bathing suit pic in a couple days!
  • Hi. I'm Angela and I was doing really well on losing for a while and then I got depressed. I love the WATP workouts because I can do them no matter how hot or cold it is, in the privacy of my home! Between having lost my job, losing my Uncle, who was like a father to me, and having serious marital problems, I fell into a…
  • I'm in Rancho Cordova and would love a workout friend!
  • I'm in the Rancho Cordova area, but would love a workout partner!
  • This is awesome info! I'm a massage therapist too. I know it is work and I do 6 hours per day sometimes. That is lovely! I think this is a good thing for me! Whoot Whoot
  • It is a great workout and makes your butt hurt in places you didn't know there were muscles.. but.. RESULTS!!!

  • I love P90X Plyometrics
  • Absolutely 100% YES! After removing them from your diet for about 2 weeks, the cravings for them begin to go away! It is much easier to control cravings once you eliminate it from your diet. It also makes weight loss easier!
  • I'm from Sacramento! I live in the 95826 near highway 50 and Watt Ave. I love going on river walks! Also doing P90X right now and just looking for some fitness friends!
  • I will send you a link to our P90X group. It is a great group of people supporting each other through the program. I am having amazing results!
  • Sent you an invite to our P90X group! Everyone is really nice and here is a pic of my 2 week result. I have a bad knee and a bad shoulder, don't do every rep and work at a moderate intensity! I am having amazing results and would love to help you through the program!

  • A picture says a thousand words. I started P90X on May 7. I took my before pic and just out of curiosity, I took an updated picture yesterday. When I put them side by side I shocked myself. Keep in mind that I have a bad right knee and bad left shoulder. I don't do every rep and I workout at moderate rather than high…
  • I'm going to borrow this for a group of people I'm working with. Great post! Thanks!
  • I have done Chalean Extreme and would recommend it to people, but I can tell you that I am currently doing P90X and I've never seen my body change this way before! These are my results after only 2 weeks. I started May 7, 2012 and took this picture today, May 22, 2012. I didn't even know my body had changed this much until…
  • My friend had a similar issue, although hers came from working on her feet the whole day. She had developed bone spurs in both heels. The pain she described sounds exactly like yours. I understand that you need to wait for your insurance, but this is definitely not normal and you have to get it checked out as soon as…

  • I think it depends. For me it would be inappropriate because I'm 43 and have a small frame with a large chest (Not fake, so a little too bouncy if you get my drift). I think nothing of it when I see women doing that, provided it isn't borderline see through. If that is what makes you comfortable and keeps you working out,…
  • This could be somewhat of an optical illusion. If lifting 10 pounds is taking your muscles to failure in 10-12 reps, you could be growing muscles, which, until the fat burns away, may appear to make you slightly larger. Another explanation could be that you are using improper form and causing some swelling. I agree with…
  • Hi. I'm Angela and I have a background in nutrition and personal training. I no longer work as a trainer, but I love cheering people on and encouraging and helping with their battles. I am personally rehabbing a torn acl and a separated shoulder, so it is a battle for me too~ Angela I'm in a P90X group on here. We're all…
  • I needed that today~ Posted it on my facebook page as well as my facebook fitness group. Already getting "likes" on it~
  • Hi Rikki, My name is Angela and I am the same. Had MFP on my phone for ages, but just committed to getting back to my healthy lifestyle 2 weeks ago. I am so onboard if you want support. My background is in personal training, but due to 2 major injuries I was inactive for the better part of the past 2 years. I am now trying…
  • I'm not limited by back problems, but I am limited by a bad right knee and left shoulder. Trust me, any injury can take its toll on your workout. What type of workout program are you doing? I was a personal trainer for a long time. I might be able to give you ideas on how you can safely modify the exercises so you can do…
  • Hi Nitro. I hear what you're saying. I hate the word diet for that reason. First of all, dieting is not at all healthy and almost always temporary. To reach your goals, you have to make a lifestyle change. My experience with dieting lead me to bullimia when I was young. I am rehabbing a torn acl and a separated shoulder.…
  • This is a great place to be! I am also working on my goals of fitness while rehabbing injuries. I would love to support you. Add me as a friend if you'd like!
  • Hi everyone, I actually joined this group in December, but have never posted or anything. I'm Angela.. 43.. and in my second week of P90X. I am rehabbing a torn acl and a separated shoulder. I am doing great on it so far although I have to modify some of my workouts to accommodate. I was a personal trainer for a long time…
  • I prefer raw foods. Sometimes I'll grab a can of chili, but I eat a lot of chicken, fish, veggies and the like. Add me if you like.
  • I hated my job but then I got laid off. Now I'm finding work as a virtual assistant. Much happier and work on the schedule I want to work instead of someone else's.
  • There is no "too fat". You are in a great place to make friends who will encourage and support you through your weight loss and cheer you on as you take on a healthier lifestyle. I will add you as my friend.
