I would focus on diet and strength exercises. It has helped me big time. I also started out as a beginner in exercising and strength training seemed to be a great way to ease into exercising in short intervals that got my heart rate high. Everyone on here does 30 day shred it seems, but it's great. You should check it out.…

you don't have to take metamucil, it only helps if you are low in fiber. however, eating apples with the skin, oranges, spinach, etc is super heavy in fiber. i eat a lot of protein and i am always constipated so metamucil is my best friend.

i only measure my wrists. as weird as that sounds, i've always wanted super skinny wrists. so, if you're like me, you can add wrists to the list!

i agree with the other posters but i have a suggestion if you find yourself binging, can you binge on fiber-heavy foods, such as fruits and veggies, mix some Metamucil in your water, and take a swig of coffee, so you just end up pooping it all out? in the midst of that chaos, you can have something you're craving…

Which level do you think you did the most? You look fabulous, btw. I'm a week and a half away from finishing 30DS.

I try to skip breakfast and lunch and replace it with little snacks. I always do bad around dinner on weekends and I'm not sure why. But yeah, I just try not to eat because I know I will over eat.

I agree. I am so thankful for people having the courage to share their progress. It's like a gift of inspiration! Let's not kick 'em when they're "down" (in weight), so to speak :)

You need to find something better to do! No offense but that is just negative and not right. We're all here about our own personal journey, not the lives of people on "an anonymous message board"!

Healthy is healthy. Anything in between is just noise. Let's all just be friends. :)

I just bought the ft7 for $100 on amazon.

Good for you. Oddly, it sounds like a great experience for motivation.

The hardest part is getting started and it sounds like you're on the right track! I've been using this app for a few weeks and it's made a huge change on my eating habits. Exercise is harder, but it earns more food for the day, so that's excellent motivation! Good luck!

Yep, just like what mrmarius said. I always just think "one day at a time". If I feel like working out today, I do it and I finish it. If I don't feel like working out, I just don't. However, if those off days become too frequent, I use that to convince myself the next day. One day at a time!

Good luck! I'm not an Aussie but I just spent a month over there (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide) and loved it. SOO awesome!

Why I avoid sugar and refined sugar is that sugar raises the insulin level in your blood and a raised insulin level increases fat storage. (Source: My doctor during my annual physical earlier this year).

Welcome! For eating, I am on a paleo (also known as caveman) diet. It's basically protein and veggies. It was hard to get used to but I've stuck to it about 6 months and it's easy peasy now. My favorite meal is a baked chicken breast with yam fries and a greek salad (cucumber, tomatos, and a little bit of feta cheese with…

I have discovered that using MFP when tracking my meals has really reduced my night eating. It feels like before I was tracking my food, I was having a black out moment with my night eating and wiping it from my memory. Now that I have to be accountable, it really makes me think twice about having that just one piece of…
