  • Hi!!! I'm also an on again, off again WW member that is finally making a decision to stick with calorie counting on MFP (It clicks better for me). I originally joined WW back in 2004, and after gaining quite a bit I'm 10 pounds higher from where I was when I first joined WW. I'm down 45+ pounds from my highest weight…
  • Former MD resident (still work in Md) and VA resident here! Hi!
  • I've been debating back and forth with myself between following WW or just tracking calories here on MFP. I've been tracking here (and maintaining), but truthfully I've just been lazy. I need to get back on the bandwagon and make healthier choices. I know what to do, its just actually doing it. If anyone wants to add me to…
  • "I've lost count how many times I've joined this program. Every time I join, I quit and tell myself I will never join again." ^^^^I could have wrote exactly this. I've been stuck in the same WW/MFP cycled for years. I logged onto WW's website this morning and was about to rejoin (for the millionth time since I first joined…
  • Struggling to start again myself (after regaining quite a bit), and this sounds like what I need. Add me if you'd like!
  • I had a few rough patches in 2014, but have (finally) found my motivation again. Looking to lose around 140 overall (20 pounds down so far in 2014).
  • Welcome Marcelle (I hope I spelled that right). I am also turning 30 soon, and have quite a bit to lose (I am still trying to determine my actual goal weight). I'm going to send you a friend request :)
  • I have been a member of WW (on and off) for almost 10 years, and LOVE the support on the messages boards. I switched to MFP a few months ago, and cancelled my WW account for financial reasons. I still go to the WW boards daily as alot of the girls there have really formed great friendships. Yes, sometimes there is snark…
  • I'm bad at tracking when it comes to condiments. When I used ketchup at dinner I never track it, as well as butter spray. I know the calories add up over time, I'm just lazy I guess lol.
  • I'd love to join. How do you go about creating or joining a team?
  • Hello all. I also have over 100 pounds to lose to meet my final goal weight. Feel free to add me if you'd llike.
  • I'm not living in MO now- but have tons of family in the St. Louis area (my aunt went to college in Springfield I believe). I am thinking of moving there int he future- but not sure yet.
  • For delicious healthy food recipes try: www.emilybites.com and www.skinnytaste.com I learned about both of those sites through WW, and they are amazing!
  • Hi all. So glad to see the new members :) HOw is everyone doing today?
  • Hello all. So my WI this morning is .4 away from my highest weight ever. I do not want to see that number again (or a higher high weight!) Time to get in gear. Good luck everyone! ps- when does the challenge end again? I know we said in january but can't remember the day.
  • Finally found this :) I would love to join! My bday is on the 11th, so this will be a great Challenge to join in and begin my 27th year with a bang!!! Anyone have a recommendation for a nice, cheap pedometer so I can record my miles??
  • I'm only 100 pounds off lol. But at the time I was only 30-40 pounds more then my DL weight of 155.
  • 5 ft 5 here. Started MFP about 2 weeks ago at 265. Goal is around 140-145.
  • Not close enough to be a workout buddy, but I'm in St. Mary's County, MD- not too far from you!
  • These are all wonderful ideas. Thank you all! I also think when you see a healthy item on sale, that you KNOW you will use alot, STOCK up! Shop sales & use Coupons! It is more work to get healthier items (vs. processed snacks) but it's definitely possible!
  • You did amazing!! You look great :) Way to go!
  • Thank you all for the advice. One question, how do I edit my signature on the boards? I feel like such a newbie lol. MCDerin- No luck with the WW Points Plus. I honestly just don't think it's a good fit for me. Right now I just think tracking calories here will be a good fit. Maybe down the road I'll go back to WW, but not…

  • Don't be sad. I'll buddy up with you :)
  • I'd love to join. I'm Beth, 27, and just starting out with MFP after struggling on Weight Watchers. I am currently at 265 (back to my highest weight, but refuse to get any further on the scale!) goals... 1. Develop an exercise plan that will fit into my busy schedule and stick to it. 2. Meal Plan, and track everything I…
  • What sort of combo do you do? Do you track both Points Plus & Calories on MFP?
