I agree, you look happier now. Good job!

It's true, I need a belt because my pants are literally falling off but I didn't want to buy new clothes yet since my plan is to lose more weight. Well, I broke down and bought two pair to hold me over. I can't wait to use a belt on the new clothes in the near future.

these are the moments that really keep you going.

I'm with you on the looking in the mirror and what's looking back. It's amazing how the brain can mess with you. Anyway, I've lost 25 pounds so far and first noticed my clothes fitting better around 10 pound mark. Not many others have noticed or if they have, they haven't said anything. I tended to hide my weight well so…

I remember this feeling....it only gets better.

I can't wait to be able to say those words. Good job!

Its definately a good feeling when the jeans fit better. Nothing worse than dealing with that all day.

I am so with you on the cold water thing. I get my water and then let it sit so I can have it room temperature. I try to hit at least 8 glasses a day and I do go to the bathroom alot but I just think of it as a positive; more exercise:laugh:

Love this idea!

Good job! I will post when I reach that number as well. So have you tried the Special K popcorn Chips? That's what I'm bringing.

I have the best group of friends and they really keep me motivated. What I don't like is when reading some of the general blogs, there is some negativity. So when I see that I just block them.

I love Skinny Cow stuff; the ice cream sandwich is to die for and very filling.

I currently live close to Pittsburgh, PA. It's hard living here and being a Dallas Cowboy fan, trust me.

I so relate with you on the incremental improvements. I couldn't even run for a minute, then I went to five minutes, then 10 and this past weekend I ran 15 minutes straight. I'm slow but I'm running. The feeling is really something I can't even describe and any non MFP person would probably think I'm looney but I'm not,…

keep up the good work.....just 40 days ago, my knees hurt to walk up a flight of stairs. I could only walk for 20 minutes on the treadmill and my shins were killing me. I'm now up to 45 minutes consistently and I am able to run some as well. This site is very inspirational. Stay in touch with others. It really helps.

definately energy level and pants fitting better.
-
Good job! I think if I keep it at 1 pound a week, then if I lose more, it's a bonus.
-
very true...thanks

I just it 11 pounds today as well. Good job! We should be very proud of ourselves.

that is great and an inspiration for a new person starting this journey.

I feel for you; I'm a choco-alcohlic and the only way I survive this addiction is to buy things that have chocolate in it but are relatively healthy. Skinny cow ice cream sandwiches or special k cereal bars. I think if I had to eliminate chocolate I would be a basket case. Keep up the good work.

I don't mind water but I don't like cold water. Wierd I know. My husband doesn't like water either but he has known to drink propel and other flavored water. I so miss my sweet tea.............that was my addiction and everyone once in awhile I still need a fix.:blushing:

I can't wait for that day; however he will never know because I would die if he knew I weighed more than him. Maybe he does know but I'm ok with thinking he doesn't. Sometimes the land of denial is ok.

Seroquol should not be used as a sleeping aid. I work in a psychiatric hospital and this is not the intent of the drug. You should seek a second opinion.
-
I don't like Yogurt either, so you are saying it's a different taste?

so speaking of 30 day shred. I did day one yesterday and just wanted some assurance that I'm not a loser because I couldn't keep up. I tried to keep moving but couldn't do all the jumping jacks and lunges. My knees are for crap which is one of the reasons I really want to lose the weight so my knees don't hurt when I walk…
